Ship Engine Pointer
Perfect Stealth
Zero PlayerDetectionLight causes enemy HUD elements to not show up. No idea how to fix it. The function seems to be temporary anyway. I was wondering why some people I stole from like ages ago all of a sudden are hostile to me now. I had to load like 5 saves back to fix it. If you shoot someone with Zero PlayerDetectionLight on in stealth, nobody will notice, and then if you disable it, everyone will come after you. I advise not using Perfect Stealth until Zanzer can figure out a way to make this persist between saves as well.

Or, run this every time you start the game.

Code: Select all

//Perfect Stealth
setgs fSneakVisualBaseValue -9999
setgs fSneakEquippedWeightBase -9999
If you don't want to run that every time you boot up the game, make a TXT file in Starfield called autorun then add this to StarfieldCustom.ini under General

Code: Select all

sStartingConsoleCommand=bat autorun
fDeadReactionDistance causes you to always get away with murder. Set it to -9999 if you want that, but it kinda breaks the game.

Also, here's a bonus. Pickpocket always succeeds. (Because that's what I use stealth for anyway)

Code: Select all

//Pickpocket chance 100
setgs fPickPocketMinChance 100
setgs fPickPocketMaxChance 100

LMAO, typical game hacker.. love it, I end up doing the same on switch games, barely get out of the tutorial before making cheats.. lol

Module limit doesn't work when copying parts, just placing. Kind of a pain when you have custom colors already. Thanks for all the hard work!

You can run these commands or add them to an Autorun bat file:
SetGS uSpaceshipBuilderMaxModules 10000
SetGS uSpaceshipBuilderModuleHardLimit 10000

is there any way to change the sliders above the limits in the character creator

especially the eyes and eyebrows gives me headaches, coz i cant make narrow eyes ala clint eastwood as example, or cant have eyebrows nearer to the eyes

or could someone maybe give me a hint how to search for the values in cheat engine?

Yeah, I figured out later fSneakVisualBaseValue also affects normal detection. So enemies will end up ignoring you. Kinda screwed on that, unfortunately. If you could have it run only when the player is crouched, that might work.

Is the fix good even if you used the older version, or do I need to load a save before I used it first?

It just does the same thing it did before, just forcing the game setting, but it's still contaminated.

Anyway, I worked out the crafting menu. You can now always craft stuff at benches, despite what you have in your inventory.

Code: Select all

If you have the requirements in your inventory, it will still consume them unless you use Free Craft from Zanzer.

Ah ah :mrgreen: , i am also quite late on the story questline as i love to explore the world and all the things that you can explore.

But thinking about it your answer could be taken in multiple ways, either you love the game and its world so much that you want to keep the story for later or you keep getting interested by other questline or activities in the game that you don't even think about doing the story.
Or that you only spent your time creating scripts and not playing the game and that's why you are so early in the story quest, and you can either hate, love - or have no idea what you think about - the game.
Which one is it ? :D

It is a good game and anyone who likes games will love it.
I am a huge fan of SF and always dreamed about a game like this, similar to what freelancer did many years ago but with a focus more on story and RPG so when they announced it i was happy but also very very pessimistic as Bethesda did released not very good or in very bad state games and i was afraid it was going to be the case here so i tried to not follow the hype and expect the least i was able too.

After having played the game for >25 hours i can say i didn't expect the game to be as good as it is.
It's not prefect, there is issues here and there (UI, ergonomic, many loading screen, some strange game-design choice ...) but as a whole the game is fucking amazing and fun to explore while being beautiful with an amazing world to discover.
There is so many NPC that have a story, offer your relatively interesting quests, or just discussions about stuff that make the all world way more coherent and feel more real.
There is enough different activities to do that you don't feel repetitivity as in many other games, every time i need to stop playing i really have to force myself to stop, i would continue to play forever, it has been so long that i felt that about a game :wub:

TL;DR If you usually love Bethesda games and Science Fiction you will probably love this one too :mrgreen:

The 2nd one doesn't corrupt the game that much beyond the enemies not seeing you. When stealing, if you royally fuck it up, the guards will instantly react to what you did, so that way you won't have to deal with it 5 saves later like with the original method. So it's good to enable it when stealthing, but I just turn it off after stealthing. Although it's really just the same as calling setgs -9999 to turn it on and setgs -20 to turn it off.
