I tried both... many many times.

I have no idea then. The game freezes when loading after I've used "Activate Trainer" but after 15 seconds or so it unfreezes and continues.

Working fine on Game Pass version as of right now:



Edit: played through an entire level, quit to main menu and loaded my save with all the cheats enabled and there is still no crashing. Try deleting the trainer app and re-downloading it. Your AV may have deleted some necessary files.
