they have console options but it is restricted. If no table can be built. guidance to unlock the console would be welcome. I know how to make it shw up but even removing the restrictions on hidden commands the things like god mode will not activate in game.

The Remastered versions do not use CryEngine 3. That's the whole point of a remaster: using newer Engine versions, benefiting from next-gen capabilities.
