As the others said it doesn't affect it, but if you try to finish the entire event you might make it obvious you're cheating and get banned on both idle skilling & idleon since it's predicted it would take over a year to get to the end of the event.
...even though you can just unban yourself from idleon instantly, and being banned on idle skilling does nothing.
Not really the best place to ask but, is Idleon worth cheati... I mean playing? Only ever played Idle Skilling
i mean with all the overpriced shit in the gem store as well as the horrible droprates for gems from nightmare bosses because of the nerf aswell as the op shit in the gem store, id say its perfectly worth cheating if you are going to play it.
especially with how shoddy the anticheat is on it, due to it being client-sided and all.
A patch happened in which all files have been restored to original state.
Gonna test later today if the replacement of files still works.
Consider this post just as a headsup that old cheats have been removed from your gamefiles.
Savegames seem to remain intact.
Edit. After testing I found out you can simply apply the same method in my older post to make the cheats work again.

It's important to reapply the cheats using the same method after the patch. The JS file is the main code for the game, so when he patches stuff it's more likely than not that is what gets changed. If you just drop an old file on top of the new app.asar you'll overwrite the patches with the old buggy code. Not that the new file is that much less buggy at the moment, but...
Can verify this does work as of today. I had issues as I've seen a few have, and I'll explain the method to get it to work:
1) Download 7-Zip and install it.
2) Download the files mentioned in previous posts (asar7z [A plugin for 7zip], and Qno2x [which is the cheat file])
3) Go to your 7-Zip folder in program files, create a new folder and call it "Formats" (Minus quotations).
4) Put Asar7z 32,64 bit, and readme in this folder.
5) Open the IdleSkilling path to where you see the .asar file.
6) Right click, use 7 zip to open.
7) Navigate folders until you see the Qno2x file.
8) Drag the Qno2x file you downloaded, and replace this one.
9) Close everything, and play the game. Go to gem shop, time candy, purchase candy (even if greyed out).
I've taken IchRiechAnMeinemFurz file and applied tibasichelp post.
This file does what IchRiechAnMeinemFurz file does but now every candy gives 100 days (2400 hours) time.
So no more hoping you get the right candy.
Also please make sure to spend gems on Card Packs and stuff so you don't have a too crazy amount of gems and potentially get your save deleted.

I've downloaded the asar7z and placed the 64x and 32x in the correct folder, and I can open the app.asar and navigate to the Qno2x file, but when I try to drag it in, nothing happens. when I press the add button to upload a file it says something like "this operation cannot be performed" I don't really know what to do
I've done everything correctly, but my 7zip doesnt let me drag the new Qno2x file in, to replace the old one. any suggestions?

Any way to improve spelunking and construction? im more interested in spelunking, is slow because you can't use candy's in there,, so, if someone finds a way to make it faster to learn or get more rewards from spelunkig i'll be grateful.
