Re: [Requests] Disney Dreamlight Valley
I have a similar but not similar issue, I haven't added anything like that in the game but I did input a code like that while crafting and hovered to another craftable item to see what it was and it was a 2x2. Now when Wall-E is gifting Eve with a plant, he gives her a 2x2 insteadHFF22 wrote: ↑Mon Sep 30, 2024 1:07 pmHello Ruby!!! So
I’m jet getting the reply about the removed item I asked about for the Ariel’s Mystical Ruin and I noticed you mentioned the 2 X 2 items that show up “not safe” if you add on your game. Well like a dumb dumb I have one of those I have had for a while! Yes I should have back up saved I’m kicking myself now! Is there a way to remove it or am I stuck w it:(? Thank you in advance !!!

Re: [Requests] Disney Dreamlight Valley
I'm looking to add motifs but it seems as if they require a different method.
Edit: Nevermind. It works, just didn't do it right the first time I guess.

Is the scrooge shop setup completely broken ? I want to set up a shop for my daughter but the PlayerData option bugs out
Re: [Requests] Disney Dreamlight Valley
Hi,
I have tried to add some premium items in my player.json-file today but got an error code when I start the game.
I have decrypted the file with help from this guide: viewtopic.php?f=23&t=29469
Then I have added a row with wanted item, in this case I have just tried one item: 40002894 - Trainee Tent with below:
"40002894": { "Amount": 1, "Marker": "ItemMarker_None" }
I have also changed the place where it appear in file to true. (That function only made it appear in my collection, but I could not order or use it) I have tried to do some other changes in the decrypted file and it works, it is just adding items I don't get to work. I guess there is some counter in the file that checks how many items I have or similar, but where can I find this? - Or is it another way to add premium items?
Thanks in advance, and sorry if it has been a topic in the thread, I have tried to search but the function doesn't seems to work for me.

Could you provide a little bit before that line, and a little bit after? Json structure is REALLY sensitive, a missing comma or a comma that is out of place is what I'm thinking here, which is why I'd like to see an extension of the data to see where you may have made a mistake.idast wrote: ↑Sat Oct 05, 2024 10:55 pmHi,

The general approach you described is correct, but also make sure that you are in the appropriate inventory section of the JSON, there are several. The end of the array will have the type of item that it is. Make sure that it's the correct type for the ID you've provided.
The true/false is just for the collection as you've already discovered.
Re: [Requests] Disney Dreamlight Valley
A few messages ago I saw someone mention that an older version of the script worked for that specific thing, maybe you could try the version that they mentioned? As far as I'm aware though, premium items in scrooge shop were patched. I haven't used it for that purpose so I can't confirm if that's still the case. Regular items should definitely work though.
I've just tested it, enable playerdata and then move around, open inventory it should populate the data, then scroll down and you'll see your scrooge items, it will have data once you go inside of the store. You cannot use premium items (I tried it and it gave some error message) but regular works fine. The item displayed won't change immediately, but if you go to purchase it after modifying it, you will see it has changed to the new item and you can buy it as normal.

Re: [Requests] Disney Dreamlight Valley
Why couldn't you have just used the crafting codes instead of editing the json? Sure, adding every premium item this way is tedious but this method just sounds... dangerous?
Re: [Requests] Disney Dreamlight Valley
I don't see any immediate issues from the snippet you provided, could you go back to a save before you messed with it, go to the very end of the furniture array and do:idast wrote: ↑Sun Oct 06, 2024 12:01 amThanks, here is some data from the file:KosDDV wrote: ↑Sat Oct 05, 2024 11:39 pmCould you provide a little bit before that line, and a little bit after? Last thing you can try is to use a json validator (it also makes reading it much easier when it's not all compressed together) you just copy and paste your save file into that, will make your life easier and should help check for errors in the structure.
Re: [Requests] Disney Dreamlight Valley
It's not something I would recommend but if you know how to do it correctly, you can surely save a lot of time!itsenushima wrote: ↑Sun Oct 06, 2024 12:19 amWhy couldn't you have just used the crafting codes instead of editing the json? Perhaps they can't use the cheat table due to platform or maybe an outdated crack of the game I'm not sure. Maybe they want to learn about the json structure and find ways to manipulate it and see what they can do!
Re: [Requests] Disney Dreamlight Valley
So this means, we could just create a txt with those lines for all items so we just paste it into our own save and we have all the items in max amounts without having to manually do it via the cheat table? That'd be amazing. But then again, I guess one could also just write a script that adds all those lines to a save file (or rather, replaces lines of already existing items)
Re: [Requests] Disney Dreamlight Valley
Yeah pretty much as long as you follow the format and understand the json array structure, you could absolutely add all items this way. It's important to note though that there are various areas in the json for different types of items, so you can't put everything into the same spot it won't work correctly and will most likely break everything.bpx wrote: ↑Sun Oct 06, 2024 8:58 amSo this means, we could just create a txt with those lines for all items so we just paste it into our own save and we have all the items in max amounts without having to manually do it via the cheat table? I'd still recommend the crafting, but it's certainly possible.
Re: [Requests] Disney Dreamlight Valley
I am interested in how the file is structured.itsenushima wrote: ↑Sun Oct 06, 2024 12:19 amWhy couldn't you have just used the crafting codes instead of editing the json? Sure, adding every premium item this way is tedious but this method just sounds... dangerous?
I will try to compare a file before and after buying a new item to spot the differences, I think it will be easy to add everything we want!KosDDV wrote: ↑Sun Oct 06, 2024 12:33 amI don't see any immediate issues from the snippet you provided, could you go back to a save before you messed with it, go to the very end of the furniture array and do:idast wrote: ↑Sun Oct 06, 2024 12:01 amThanks, here is some data from the file:KosDDV wrote: ↑Sat Oct 05, 2024 11:39 pmCould you provide a little bit before that line, and a little bit after?
