You make a mist ball/s with the staff as normal, then edit your .json profile to place more or just increase the values of what has spawned. Mine are all in a pretty row as a example.

Hey. When you download the decrypted file, it's not a json type, it's how it's supposed to be. What you need to do is right click on it and thenchoose the option that says Edit using Notepad. Your file will open as txt file, you edit what you need, then save and after that you just rename your file so thait's profile.json instead of just profile. Then you put it in your save folder. Let me know if you have more questions, I already edited a bunch of stuff on my own profile, including my Scramblecoin score and Jafar's level when thaat glitch with his level 7 quest was around and everything went perfectly fine.
So I think I’ve managed to open the file ok.
How do I find and change the mist blobs? Like how much they’re worth and how many I have in my village.

I suppose i've corrupted my save by crafting the christmas skin for Jack Skellington months ago with one of the first revision posted here and now he won't end his quest because i've already obtained it and it won't give it to me again (it says "inventory full" even if is empty)
NPC skins aren't an object in inventory that can be disposed of using the updated CT file, so what can i do? Thanks for the powerful tool btw
question! I used this to craft in the premium shop houses. I never left the crafting menu, I was just cruising through adding these to the game. I got about halfway through and then it wouldn't craft anything else. I shut down CE, restarted my game. It will let me craft without CE open, but when I bring up CE to craft something in, it doesn't change the menu item and will not let me leave the crafting menu. I KNOW I did not open the main menu. Anyone know what I did, or hear of this? My friend also did the same thing so we are trying to figure it out. Luckily, these are both brand new saves, so its no big deal if we have to restart.

Someone here might be able to edit your save file for you, but that warning in my spreadsheet has been there close to a year where it says not to craft it....
If you don't have a backup, and no one can help you....you are probably SOL.

I've had that issue in the past...but usually reloading fixes it, try a backup save and do it slowly, make sure you didn't bug your collections.

How to change things in the scrooge shop? As an example, I would like to have the Mickey Mouse Pumpkin Topiary in the Scrooge Shop for a friend to buy it. But how you can change that ? anyone have a tutorial?
Pretty sure that this has been patched due to some people trying to make $$$ from it, meaning that you might be able to change the item to a premium item, but it won't let anyone buy that item from you. There was a bug a little while ago where NO ONE could buy premium items that they already owned from scrooge, it would say "NOTALLOWED"

Hey you would have to have the ID for the actual mist ball/orb thing.. I recently made a dump of the game which has ALL of the ID's used, so you may need to look through that and see which one relates to the actual mist orb (or whatever they call it!) keywords to try searching for: time, orb, mist, ball
Something else is that other "blocker" furniture types such as those mushrooms, the rocks on dazzle beach etc, seem to look like this in the spreadsheet
Blocker/WateringCan!Mushrooms_Small
You could try searching around that area for it, but that's only if the game is considering it a blocker type.

Thanks. I asked because I keep a list of unreleased items and I add them to the game and crosd them off the list as they are being released. I thought that maybe I missed the topiary because I’m pretty sure it’s the missing item in the Mickey&Friends furniture collection.

where do i find the .json file ?and what download do i need to edit it
The json file is inside your save game folder. Go to AppData, then LocalLow, Gameloft, Disney Dreamlight Valley and if you’re playing on steam you should find a folder named steam_ (there’s a bunch of numbers after the _). Open that folder and inside you’ll find the profile.json file.
