I hope this is the right place. I’ve have searched to be sure. I’m using the Cheat Engine for dreamlight valley via the crafting table on PC and I am actually having some premium items stay on my resources list. I can’t add the photo to show what I mean but the issue has me stressed. From what I understand I cannot add a photo to show what I mean.

But if I go to collections>all areas>crafting> refined materials beside wood and stone brick etc I see two junk boats that I crafted on my cheat engine and two pairs of socks. None of which were in tagged as debug or unsafe to use yet on my switch device and my PC I see them stuck in that category. Advice please I do not one to back track a month work of work for this if not necessary other than visual I don’t believe it’s creating any issues. I also would love to know how to avoid this in the future because he socks are new and the boats have been on there for a while
I've had this happen in the past and I am afraid it means your crafting table is glitched. I would advice you to go back a previous save where these issues weren't present yet because it's not simply a visual glitch. For me it turned into broken quests because I could no longer craft the items needed.

Oh no. I’m going to assume you lost all your moonstones accumulated during that time ? I just finished getting all my scramblecoin pieces too. Took me hours and hours…

Don't go to the main menu while using the crafting table cheat or this will happen.

Whatever you replaced in the crafting table will now register as the item you crafted instead and break quests. (for example, if you replaced iron and a quest asks for iron, it's now going to ask for the boat or whatever premium item you crafted instead)

That's why in big writing I wrote "DON'T GO TO MAIN MENU WHILE ACTIVE" and ALWAYS BACK UP YOUR SAVE.

Yes it's broken, yes it can bug out future quests, you will have to either revert to previous save (I hope you backed up), or start fresh (I had to start fresh when I first did this, luckily it wasn't too rough).

Sometimes it can RARELY happen even if you don't go to the main menu, which is why I always mention backing up, but it happens very consistently if you go to the Title Screen with it active.

You don't lose moonstones no, you don't lose anything you legit bought with premium currency (also star path that was done legit is not affected, but it will reset any partially completed tasks (eg pick 50 night thorns you were at 30/50 it will go back to 0/50). You will lose any premium crafted items, and scramblecoin levels etc.

Thanks for the info. I legitimately don’t remember going to the main menu. But there was a time or two my cheat menu was closed and was somehow still active. Like I closed it yet it didn’t close.

I’m pretty sure I used wrought iron which I don’t think is craftable anyway.

I’ve been told to ask if someone is well versed with save files to ask if they can help with getting it fixed. I’m planning on taking a break until I sort it out. I legitimately finished my star path and scramblecoins and I just finished all of my quests and a ton of decorating. So I hoping someone can help. I’ve seen a few people offer. If anyone can do this I’ll be forever grateful.

Thanks for the info y’all 💕

It took me a long while to figure out too from reading older forum posts so I'll break it down:

1. First copy and back up the folder in Steam or Origin your game is in like so.
2. Download this version of Cheat Engine; it says Steam only, but I use a legit version of the game in Origin and it works fine for me.
3. Open DDLV.
4. Double click on your downloaded version of Cheat Engine to open it.
5. Click the monitor icon in the top left corner under File and select DDLV. Hit Open, keep the current cheat list.
6. In DDLV go to your crafting table and engage with it.
7. Pick the crafted item you want to overwrite and make sure you have the materials to craft it. I always go with Sturdy Chair, which just needs 10 Softwoods. It's item code 40000240. Click on it to bring up the materials window but don't craft it.
8. Go back to Cheat Engine and in the bottom white pane, click the squares to X/activate Crafting -> Craft Data -> Result -> Item ID.
9. Under the Value column, double-click on 40000240 and replace it with whatever safe Item ID you want from [Link]. Hit enter.
10. Go back into DDLV and craft the item. Presto, it will be whatever item the new ID code was.

As you craft more items the images in your crafting panel will glitch and change into these items but just ignore those and keep going back to your chosen "base" furniture selection like Sturdy Chair. As it warns in Cheat Engine, don't go to the Main Menu while you have this cheat active. When you're done, just go to Settings -> Quit Game, close Cheat Engine and restart without opening Cheat Engine again.

Closing it does not deactivate that cheats. You need to close it and close your game to desktop to make sure it's actually disabled. Cheat engine still keeps the injections running even if it's not open, so ALWAYS go to desktop when you are done using.

If you completed your star path legit (not using CE) than it will still be done and you will still retain all your rewards etc, scramblecoin yah that will reset.

It's there, it was "Mickey Lamp" so if you tried to type in "Lamppost" it probably didn't show up, I fixed the name now.

Refresher link as some people can't seem to find it!

Remember you need CE Version 7.5

This has ONLY BEEN TESTED ON STEAM on PC! I cannot guarantee it will work on or with anything else! (I know it doesn't work with Mac)

Game version : 1.11.1.17

As always, BACK UP YOUR SAVE FILE BEFORE DOING ANYTHING!

Can someone make a cheat to be able to have multiple hangouts active at same time? Some quests allow this (like Maui last quest: The Heart Of Dreamlight Valley) if that helps for you guys to track and find out how to make it possible for all characters.
