Re: [Requests] Disney Dreamlight Valley
Has anyone copied their save file that they edited from a maybe not legit copy of the game(so no online) to a legit copy later and it had been fine? I own the game(I actually bought the ultimate founders pack AND the cozy edition because I am a sucker) but I’ve been using cheat engine on a save file that is not on the games I bought, and I wondered if it would be a problem if I moved that save file over to my legit copy later. Or if I took my legit copy’s save file and moved it to the not legit game, edited it, then moved it back? I might be overly cautious here but I really don’t want to risk my legit save that I’ve paid a lot of money towards.
Also, sorry if I’m sounding like a noob, I’m only used to 3DS game editing, not PC.

Does anyone have a table listing item IDs? I tried going through the post to find it and unfortunately I couldn't find anything.

Re: [Requests] Disney Dreamlight Valley
Hi everyone! I have two different accounts, one on PC and one on Switch so I can pass the materials to each other, I modified the items in Scrooge's shop, all items can be purchased from the Switch account, except the player houses, what am I doing wrong?

Hiii! I'm new here and I don't know much about coding. Can someone kindly explain to me how to unlock all the memories? I saw the codes for the memory fragments but I tried with the cheat engine and it doesn't work or maybe I'm doing it wrong. I would appreciate any help (thank you all for all the effort you put into this community! <3)

This is a tricky question to answer but I'm going to try my best to help you!rebelgirl44 wrote: ↑Fri Jun 21, 2024 10:33 pmHas anyone copied their save file that they edited from a maybe not legit copy of the game(so no online) to a legit copy later and it had been fine? Can you copy a save from a cracked version / offline version of the game, yes of course. From what I've seen in the profile save file there's nothing to suggest any check for a cracked save file. Once you transfer the save folder (in appdata/locallow/gameloft/disney dreamlight valley....), load the game and then if it looks all good.. hit save. Then I don't see any reasons why you couldn't save to the cloud either.
The stuff that you bought will be attached to the cloud save that you used while playing on the legit copy. This includes premium shop items, moonstones, star path rewards, and founders pack exclusive items. You will never lose these, even if you switch over to a new save as these are stored on the cloud. You will need to use the same cloud save of course.
So I'm not sure if I completely understood your question (but I understand the concern with these things) but hopefully there's something there that's helpful and you can get started Do let me know if you still did not understand and let me know which aspects you are struggling with and I'll try my best.

Do you think it could get me banned if I edited the save file I use online to give myself the choco croc/bing bong's candy stand?KosDDV wrote: ↑Sun Jun 23, 2024 11:23 pmThis is a tricky question to answer but I'm going to try my best to help you!rebelgirl44 wrote: ↑Fri Jun 21, 2024 10:33 pmHas anyone copied their save file that they edited from a maybe not legit copy of the game(so no online) to a legit copy later and it had been fine? Re: [Requests] Disney Dreamlight Valley
So far the only bans have been from incompetent people dropping blue chests in public player valley's and/or modifying scrooge store items to share premium items with people.rebelgirl44 wrote: ↑Tue Jun 25, 2024 4:42 pmDo you think it could get me banned if I edited the save file I use online to give myself the choco croc/bing bong's candy stand?KosDDV wrote: ↑Sun Jun 23, 2024 11:23 pmThis is a tricky question to answer but I'm going to try my best to help you!rebelgirl44 wrote: ↑Fri Jun 21, 2024 10:33 pmHas anyone copied their save file that they edited from a maybe not legit copy of the game(so no online) to a legit copy later and it had been fine? We have yet to see anyone get "banned" for giving themselves (and ONLY themselves) premium/limited time items. I REALLY REALLY doubt they will do anything if you are just doing it on your own game, it becomes an issue when people share and try to profit from it. Gameloft should only bother acting on the issue when legal concerns are raised, which includes sharing premium items (by any means, scrooge, blue chest or otherwise) and/or trying to profit from it. They have every right and should take legal action against those people.
The important point is that, this is a cozy-single player game for the most part... and it's not "free to play" so really do whatever you want on YOUR game. Don't submit dreamsnaps/share pictures with items that have not been released yet. If you want to wait until tomorrow to see how much will be patched or if people here will get banned, that's certainly an option. My advice would be to do whatever you need to do now, because we don't know how much of it is going to work after the update tomorrow. I find this very unlikely and will heavily impact the game in a negative way. The "leaks" give hype to premium items, people love to see the items in-game from other people before buying them. They would be quite foolish to punish people for just having fun.
So to summarise, don't share premium items with these cheats, don't try to profit from it, do not share photos / submit dreamsnaps with unreleased items.
Re: [Requests] Disney Dreamlight Valley
Please back up your game before trying this as I am not sure if it will work and could break it further. I believe it's 31200534 but you'll have to try it I don't have a way of testing it.
Re: [Requests] Disney Dreamlight Valley
I haven't tried this myself and I do not know if you can "craft" the memories either. If you decrypt your save, then you can open it in notepad++ and see everything there. If you are attempting to do that, you must make a backup because it is very sensitive. There is a table here somewhere with supposedly all of the ID's in the game, you might want to take a look at that, try crafting but if that doesn't work.. well save file editing is probably the least time consuming option but can be as I said sensitive and you must be careful and know what you're doing in there. The cheat table has tons of things to help with memory progression such as making all flowers dry, all timers are instant (so mining nodes will also respawn instantly), there's also a drop-chance that you can edit for guaranteed memory drop. However you still have the chance that the memory will just give starcoins but that's more of how the game works rather than the cheat not working. I used it a bit (I also increased the speed of the game with fearlessrevolution as the default speedhack in cheat engine didn't seem to be doing it properly) this alone won't speed up any timers it just speeds up the animations, etc so that you don't have to wait like 5 minutes for 1 memory orb to finish opening lolsweetvenu.s wrote: ↑Sun Jun 23, 2024 10:54 pmHiii! Re: [Requests] Disney Dreamlight Valley
You may have to look at some very early on pages but I'm pretty sure there was a detailed guide / video at some point, whether or not it's there now I'm not sure. We also don't know how much of this will still work after the update tomorrow.. maybe someone will put together a video if it's all good still.LumiNebula wrote: ↑Sun Jun 23, 2024 4:18 amCan someone link me to a beginner tutorial thing for this? Re: [Requests] Disney Dreamlight Valley
I would be very cautious when modifying scrooge store.. even if you are just modifying it for yourself (in that you are sharing it with your other account).. valley visits happen on the SERVER and Gameloft can monitor everything that happens there. I'm not saying that they will, but it's that they certainly can. Sharing resources is absolutely fine, no problems with that. The reason you can't put a house skin in the scrooge shop... is because the game knows that house skins would not fit there and probably specifically programmed to not accidentally be included in the "random scrooge store generator" would be pretty bad if they messed that up and premium items started showing up in scrooges store Would be hilarious though.
