okay so somehow i have 9999 kristoff stalls? i dont remember ever doing this, is there a way to get the number back to 0? (i already have one placed)

The more people who know about it stops people selling anything. Kinda need it to be public so people don’t sell it.

Unfortunately there will always be such people who try to make easy money off of stuff like this. The bigger issue I see here is it becoming more and more widely known. And the more people (try) to make money off of will put pressure on Gameloft to fix the way things work and make everything server-sided. Which would mean the end to all the magical things this game allows us to do thanks to all the amazing community research

This is exactly right. All you greedy, sad people who are trying to make a small profit off people trying to enjoy a cozy game need to stop. I will keep my merlin hack to myself and bless others for free

It irritates me that people are selling to people. I try not to get involved too much on a lot of stuff because I am trying to somewhat protect myself from becoming a target of nasty people, as I have children and this to me is something I enjoy doing to help others. People have offered me money etc but I've always turned them down, even my husband was telling me I should accept it, but tbh I don't want that, I enjoy helping others and seeing them happy and enjoying the game as it SHOULD be enjoyable for all, not locked behind those who can afford it.

Glad to hear it! I still do not understand why the default values in game are limited, there's absolutely no reason for it. I thought they would have increased the limits when they announced the touch of magic boutique, but as usual.. Gameloft = disappointment

These people are also trying to get their hands on the merlin chest method in order to sell other items like companions, house skins, etc.. This is so wrong and I have been giving away these items for free to help others. This is why I would encourage the small amount of people who know this method to keep your mouth shut because people are greedy and it gets into the wrong hands. There are already youtubers like Serroh spreading this online. If you all continue to poke around, I am sure this will all be patched.

It took me 30 minutes to figure out how to make the chests after decrypting the save, so unfortunately I think that people who want to make money from this are going to figure it out.

Now that it's this widespread, I'm interested to see what Gameloft does about the whole thing. The easy bandaid fix would be to make it so the merlin chests work like the dreamsnaps chests where you can't drop them in valley visits.
