Merli's Chest mod

Just a warning regarding this user. Messaged them regarding the mod they're showing here. Took me to discord, stating they'd like to sell it for €40 I told them I'd get back to them ect. I understand modding is a lot of work ect so I've no problem with people charging for it and so on.

However they then proceeded to continously up the price to about €200 (in messages to another person as I didn't respond to them stating they might up the price ect as that's not going to bait me to buy quicker)

They then joined the server, the one mentioned in this thread where we are trying to learn how to create our own version of this mod, and proceeded to start slandering us all and saying things such as we can't afford it with our "disability checks" (unprovoked nothing about disability was in the server ect)

They then went on to state they had no intention of sharing or selling anything and they're just doing it to "troll" us. Considering they're still posting here I thought I'd just make everyone aware to proceed with caution when dealing with them (screenshots available if anyone wants them)

he also did the same thing to me at the beginning it was 29th and the next day he told me that he was no longer selling it but would sell it to the highest bidder this person just wants to scam people!! Via discord

Is there a download for the merlins chest mod anywhere?

Also does anyone have the item IDs for the following:
Blooming roses airbed
Dreamlight lounge Chair.
Luxury snowflake rug
Christmas town polar bear
Frosty candy cane window
Twisty candy cane light post

The ones on the sheet aren't bringing up those items 🫠 and ctrl + 1 is bringing up entirely different sorts of items.
(And does anyone have a sheet with all item ids on and not just premium? The one from here everything else seems to of disappeared from it)

They are all on that one. I stopped updating the public sheet and made my own after someone kept wiping it/messing with it.

By chance I'm wondering, can we put the mist that we create or have on our island like when we search with the hourglass? because I've seen them be able to put mist on their island and also when I change the items that I choose by id at Scrooge I buy them everything is good and when I turn the game back on I no longer have the items that I bought at the store. I click on something so that it stays in my inventory?

The scrooge thing seems to have possibly been fixed by Gameloft due to unsavoury people selling star path items etc for IRL money, I am not sure how to go about fixing it myself, the craft one still works.

You can find mist on your valley as a default thing, if that's what you mean? Or are you talking about something else entirely?

yes I have seen lots of them on Facebook groups selling them I say to myself maybe I did something wrong so the Litem disappears when you buy it, what exactly should I do afterwards?

If you want to do it yoursef there i show you :

1) Attach CE with the game (need to load your world)
2) Click Mono => .Net info (Ctrl + Alt + N)
3) Go to UnityEngine.CoreModule.dll => UnityEngine.Camera and search for the methode "get_fieldOfView" rf. screenshot :

4) Follow the address in Memory View (JIT/Get Address) then set a breackpoint and trace until you found the value (float)40.00 (it is the base value in-game)

5) Copy the address and after you just have to find the pointer.

At step 4 when I put breakpoint the game crashes every time, what kind of breakpoint? can you show or put it in smaller easier steps, totally new to this.

Hey try "break and trace instructions" rather than a regular breakpoint If that doesn't work, try changing which debugger you have in settings.. Normally you want the veh debugger but not always.

Anyone know what's up with the item code for the Cinderella Popcorn Bucket? Every time I use it, it borks up my crafting menu. I'm using the one in the updated sheet which says it's 40002646 (and is for some reason separated from the other 4 buckets).

I mean wow i told you all you need to do, like KosDDV say put a breackpoint => "break and trace instructions"....

That is just it's number, there is no "for some reason", it's just how Gameloft IDed it as such.

Personally just give yourself a bunch of buttons instead, or use the move set to 90 and when you move a button it gives you 90 of them so you can get a lot and then craft it like normal.
