Using phyton dos command line to unpack and repack works like a charm and using the sql database editor to edit then repack the save file works perfectly.
Thank you Aranuktu for the technique in editing the save file
Hello everyone, I'm trying to edit the impact on tyre, fuel and ERS charge of the various orders you can set to the drivers, especially because (after the last patch) pushing leads tyres to be totally destroyed within 10-15 laps.
I tried to edit something (as tyre temperature) from savegames but, as someone already said, it's useless. However I'm sure something can be done, as I've seen some trainers (but no one for free...). I'd probably try to extract other files, even though it seems a loooong research.
Maybe someone has an idea on where to start working on?

Works like a charm, indeed. However, if I switch some drivers (for example, Mick with Russell, or K-Mag with Lando), the game crashes everytime it goes to race weekend (1st season, just starting the game).
I tested and it happens without editing anything else. Values are correct (team and car, no overwriting such as same drivers in car 1 or 2).
Obviously, restarting a new game without any driver switches works fine, so it's not game related.

Anyone with the same issues?
I have exactly the same, try and use the script manager, and with the script manager you can use the driver transfer script, with that script it works perfect!
