There's a fantastic Castlevania fangame called The Bloodletting. Its based off a cancelled 32X game.
I have, for literal years now, tried to make a cheat table for it, but no dice. It does that thing where every time you launch the game, the hex address for things is different. My dumb brain just cannot figure anything out.
Here is the game:

Password is "hassle" cause I didn't know if I was supposed to put a password on a mediafire upload or not.
Here is some work I did recently, hunting up different addresses for where the players health is stored:
Ide love to be able to cheat in this game without hunting for Infinite Health every time. Game actually gets a little bit on the ridiculously hard side later in.
Can anybody here help me out? Please?

Re: [Request] Castlevania: The Bloodletting
Hi,
Meaning this ?For HP?
I've downloaded that game just now, from the provided link, didn't tested though, it took me like few seconds to do this while i was in the game..more to write and upload this video.I can play even more if needed, tomorrow though, let me know, it might work or not, use Cheat Engine 7.4 for this!
Some awful video by me! will be removed soon!
Best wishes!

Re: [Request] Castlevania: The Bloodletting
Thank you so much!
I knew somebody here would be able to do it in like 2 seconds if they gave it a try.
I'm no good at scripting stuff. I can find the health pretty easy and lock it to give Infinite Health, but never knew what to do about its location from game to game. Thanks for the video too. That helps me alot.

Re: [Request] Castlevania: The Bloodletting
So I am hoping someone can help me with finding the issue or building a table to help adjusting the amount of lives you have in this game. I have been messing around with it for a while and I can not find the address or pointer to change the amount of lives you have. Unlike hearts in the game, the value is not exact to the number on screen. I have isolated addresses 0019EF6C and 0019F0DC as being tied to the lives somehow. They have a value of "24" when you have 5 lives (P), and then when you die it briefly goes to the number 19 in the value for these addresses and then reduces by 1. so 4 lives (P) = 23, 3 = 22, 2= 21, 1 = 20. I assume that when the somehow when the actual value hits 19 in another area of the code it knows to go to the game over screen.
Anyways, I am a novice at this but have tried a few different things and can't seem to get anything to stick and these addresses won't keep the value change. I would love to get some help here if I can as I am trying to learn using cheat engine by working with old offline fan games that I never beat (and this one is a beast). Thanks for any thoughts or tips to try and figure this one out.
