You are welcome, my list was an error-proof way of replicating what I typically do to find values. Playing with float values gets tricky when dealing with smaller value changes. changes of 1 or 2 usually will not make much of a difference. The Yoda theory applies better when dealing with float changing value logic... it changed, or it did not...GipsyDanger wrote: ↑Mon Jan 24, 2022 1:59 pmit worked, but I really don't know what I did for sure.MaadGamer wrote: ↑Sun Jan 23, 2022 8:21 pm
Sorry, I feared this might not be a useful pointer; however, it only took me a minute to find the value when I was searching.
I did the following:
-Ran the game in windowed mode (not required)
-I paused the game the moment the counter started (after selecting start on the quest)
-I changed to cheat engine
-I made sure I was searching all possible locations (maybe not needed)
-Value type is FLOAT
-Scan type is EXACT value
-for the FIRST scan, Value is the timer number displayed on your game screen
-return to the game
-toggle pause and allow number to change
-toggle pause and return to cheat engine
-change scan type to CHANGED value, conduct the next search (this scan process is important for float values where the value does not change much)
-change scan type to UNCHANGED value, conduct the next search (obviously removes bogus values that are still changing even though our timer is paused... I actually perform this search about a dozen times before I resume)
-return to the game
-toggle pause and allow number to change
-toggle pause and return to cheat engine
-change the scan type to EXACT value
-input the remaining timer value from the game screen
-perform next search... at this point, you should be down to a very small number of values and the timer should be very obvious. Rinse and repeat if you are not.
Remember to remove UNCHANGED values when you are getting lots of changing results when the result shouldn't be changing. The time will have a lot of decimal places to the right of the number, so you can ignore anything that doesn't. It will be OBVIOUS when you watch the value with the game unpaused. The address value did not change on mine if I failed the quest, so I was able to use more than one run to test the value.
I followed some of your tips and it worked.
thank you so much again

LOL maybe he had a typo?
Thanks for the update. I had a few questions.
The Experience points I changed the value but my character doesn't get maxed out.
And under Current charterer is. I assume I can use this to transform into another form I don't have unlocked?
And if so do you have the value for the dragon and any of the other transformations? or am I thinking about this wrong. And is there a way to unlock all the transformations?
Thanks for your time!

Re: [Request] Nobody Saves the World (Window Store /GamePass)
Every time I've updated EXP or FP, I've had to wait until the character leveled up next to take advantage of the change. I'll look deeper into it and see if there is something different I can do to have a more immediate effect. I to have been itching for that to work better.Setchan wrote: ↑Tue Jan 25, 2022 2:48 pmLOL maybe he had a typo?

As far as the forms... that is part of a script I converted to work with my table. I am not the author, but I did look into what the script was doing. It appears to be a pointer to a list of form names with player labels, I highly doubt you can change or unlock forms with it. I have all of the forms unlocked, so I will look into this as well. I used the FP field in this script to max all of my forms. I would set a new form to 9999999 FP, then I would complete a dungeon with that form. Upon completion of the dungeon the form would show completed in my menu. There is something unique about completing a dungeon that triggers a refresh in the form status for your currently applied form.
Re: [Request] Nobody Saves the World (Window Store /GamePass)
Sorry, I don't have a steam version installed on my system. There are two steak versions in on the first page of this thread you could try. The offset I added to modify my table for the v1.07 update was adding +0x1030 to all my static pointers. Post 5 made by ndck76 has some static pointers in it. Edit the address of each static pointer and add +1030 to the right of the very bottom address line where NStW.exe is. This might not work, but this fixed all my static pointers in the GamePass version I am maintaining.kn007 wrote: ↑Tue Jan 25, 2022 6:45 pmNeed a Steam version, thank youMaadGamer wrote: ↑Wed Jan 19, 2022 10:01 amFull disclosure, I partially converted the aforementioned steam table to work with the Game Pass version of the game.

Re: [Request] Nobody Saves the World (Window Store /GamePass)
ok, you can add the attack and magic attack pointers from my table to his and simply add the offset difference between the steam and gamepass version. Try adding these two pointers to your table and let me know if they work for you. These should return as the stat values for your selected form. Then you can modify them to 9999999 and lock them. The -9DFD60 is the offset adjustment between Steam and GamePass. This might not work, but... this is the best I can do for you since I don't have the steam version.thienrry wrote: ↑Thu Jan 27, 2022 2:55 pmim using this one, but dont have Onehit killndck76 wrote: ↑Wed Jan 19, 2022 3:42 amI only made a simple non-steam/steam version.
