As for your opponents forfeiting matches without fighting, it's a normal game feature. If you're obviously overpowered for that opponent/tournament, the opponents are programmed to be able to assess as much and won't even try to fight you. I think it's a combination of in-universe realism and game mechanics time-saver; there's not much reason to have a blatantly one-sided match. You'll find that more opponents fight you in higher rank matches where the stat differences between your monster and theirs aren't so huge.
^^This right here.
Wandering through a wasteland of opponents that won't go anywhere near you is par for the course if you train until you're completely OP. Also, if you perform a KO on a monster and get them far enough into the negatives, that monster will never again go anywhere near you. It's common in lower classes. I've had that sort of thing happen in the M4 for both MR1 and 2 when taking a thoroughly trained fourth/fifth-generation monster with high stats to a tournament.
It also saves you time clearing the lower ranks to get to a rank where you can be properly hammered into submission.
So no, not a bug. An intentional feature of the original games.
Thanks for the cheat table. I am just wondering if its possible to have an option similar to a gameshark code where you're monster will live its entire life in its prime stage?

sometimes even in a greatest 4 (big tourney) they surrend. glad to hear that was not a bug/glitches. but tbh i prefer they would at least try to fight you. greatest 4 surrend? that just look funny. my stats only 700-900 not too op i think.
Thanks to hakuman for the CT. Sadly I have the cracked version of the game.
So I had to do some fixing myself. But here's a CT that allows you to edit the Guts Rate of your monster.
[Plaza/Codex Cracked version]
If I remember right. Edited Guts Rate persist after save and loading.
Lower Number means faster Guts regeneration.
~Edit~
The CT only contains the Guts Rate. And not the CT of hakuman that I modified to work for the crack version.
If given permission from them. I would post their table edited for the crack version.
~Edit 2~
Updated the CT for Plaze Cracked version. Added Stat Gain modifiers.
Modified stat gains persist after saving and loading.
Higher Ranked Modifier = More Gains
Needs another update... Today's patch turned nearly every entry to garbage.
the good about cracked games is they are 100% offline and cant be update! this is literally ps1 mnster ranch 2
they dont add new mons, new move, nothing at all. so keep updating is useless thing i think.

just ported my old ps1 emulated mr2 table since most the addresses were mostly in the same relative places. can edit almost everything except for the new stuff they added like the training record.
opponent health and guts (works for both tourney and errantry)
the date
money
items
monster fatigue and stress
everything in monster data (stats, records, details, techniques)
everything in trainer data (records, monsters)
cards
to unlock all the cards:
in ce, change the values of "pixie" and "boxer bajarl" to "1"
select pixie's address
press "ctrl+b" to open the memory viewer
change all the "00" BETWEEN pixie's and boxer bajarl's into "01"
to fix techniques locked in battle:
under "techniques page", you will find the "selected" aob
in the aob there are 4 different numbers, each correspond to a technique
double-click the aob's value to reveal a dropdown for options between "1st" and "6th", each has four pairs of numbers that correspond to the techniques as described inside "close, short, mid, long"
not all monsters have access to 6 techniques each distance (i.e. suezo only has 12 techniques total, zuum has 24 total, see [Link] for more details); depending on what techniques are learned/removed, choose the according numbers 0 6 12 18 = 1st, 1st, 1st, 1st 0 8 15 19 = 1st, 3rd, 4th, 2nd
your new update for the table destroy everything bro.. [Link]
before you update the stats modifier is working perfectly but now it wont.
not only stats modifer
the tech also destry! [Link]
almost everything that work perfectly now cannot be used anymore.
can i ask to re-upload the OLD one?
because the OLD one work flawlessly than the newer
can you please re-upload the old CT of yours?
newer version is broken. i accidentally replace old version to your new version
and now i cant use any ct at all..
I'm genuinely baffled by all the people saying they're having issues with the CT. I'm using it (on a regular Steam version of the game, ftr) and it's working just fine. I haven't tested the rank option to confirm that it's fixed(haven't needed it), but everything I've tested has been functioning as intended. Move unlocking, stat changes, being able to set/lock style, loyalty, form, etc. I'm not sure what's up with the errors but they don't seem to be universal at all.
