well I was determined to find a way to change my money in game. The numbers seem obfuscated and random but I feel like i've cracked it. I could write up a brief tutorial on how I did it. No its not the best way, and no I don't know how to make a script or table. But fuck paying 500gold to respec characters.

I tried to would like to see a tutorial for this too. Respec costs way too much. Also I would like to see how to do edits on health or armor, or at the very least valor points.
I need some way to make combat easier at least one time because the game balance is so off that even under easy difficulty the very first "Crime" mission forces you to attempt to win a fight against 24 level 5 guards at once. (..because that is what occasional pickpockets are known for: Epic battle encounters full of honorable combat and immortal glory in face of insurmountable odds)
Also, to even come that far, you have to win 2 other battles against 16 level 4 guards each, which I did by the skin of my teeth, exhausting a lot of resources before even coming here. (the best thing is you likely aren't even paid for these endgame like battles. I was promised some scriblet with a poison formula on it or something. No gold, no food.)
This is terrible difficulty design, doesn't fit the crime mission theme because if I were that strong to literally overpower the state I wouldn't even need to steal and trick, and on top no mercenary would agree to such ridiculous conditions to just "go make enemy of the army and beat up a whole company by yourself for no reward".(there might be a way to cancel the quest, but it is not obvious you should do that) With this I am not feeling ashamed of wanting to cheat this ridiculous last encounter away.
