Re: Two Worlds v1.6 hero speed (donation negotiable)
I installed a wrong version 1.7 and now the 1.6 version is broken. And your pointers aren't working here btw.
Re: Two Worlds v1.6 hero speed (donation negotiable)
Pointers are not required. I saw I've messed them after few PC restarts tooColonelRVH wrote: ↑Sun Apr 23, 2017 5:08 pmI installed a wrong version 1.7 and now the 1.6 version is broken. And your pointers aren't working here btw.
Every adress is static adress (except strange Gamerate second adress, it just have same value as gamerate value but You can't change it there).
They are inside group named "static adresses" in my table.
About versions... To make 1.6 work again:
1. Unistall 1.7 totally,
2. Delete whole "Reality Pump" keys from registry. In regedit go to HKEY_CURRENT_USER->Software->Reality Pump, delete Reality Pump folder,
3. Install my 1.6 version and english translation files I've sent You before,
4. Activate it with Razor1911 keygen,
5. It should works again,
I saw that:
- backdash value changes grass position in game world (+Z)
- overall run speed changes whole landscape position (+Z)
- speed with weapon on makes character sliding when You don't move
- other values glitchs too
Looks like one adress brings many changes at same time. Can't make it to only change single values. Do You have any ideas for that?
Is it maybe possible to make gamerate value affects only player character? To get wanted by me overall character speed multiplier?
How the game looks after I change some stuff

Re: Two Worlds v1.6 hero speed (donation negotiable)
yea i knew that method after i installed v1.0, fixed v1.6.
I guess it's the reason they removed the Phys cheat features. Found swimming speed factor while messing with the overall speed.
The whole area nearby our speed code is binding with the drawing system, UI and objects, so problematic. Will try again later, it's late here.

Speed factor... Hmmm sounds not bad, another multiplier found brings more hope on whole hero speed multiplier.
hmmm that sounds complicated indeed...ColonelRVH wrote: ↑Sun Apr 23, 2017 6:07 pmThe whole area nearby our speed code is binding with the drawing system, UI and objects, so problematic.
I've found adresses which are doing that strange stuff with landscape, grass, etc. - they are static too.
Included them in attachment, correct values to not glitch happens are just typed as empty adresses under them.
Sadly, can't change them or freeze separately from my phys values, I think code injection is required there, sadly I have no expierience in that stuff
Tried "nop'ing" them as fuck, but no success...
Additionaly, they are not just connected with speed/distance phys cheats - they are linked between themself too, I mean value of grass with landscape value etc... Not good...
I will try something more but tommorow, after I back from job.
But still priority is the overall character speed value.
Ok see You soon, take care!

Re: Two Worlds v1.6 hero speed (donation negotiable)
We did. The problem is the dev messed up with their code in the later 1.6 update that squerol is currently playing.SunBeam wrote: ↑Sun Apr 23, 2017 11:32 pmWhy don't you guys start from the console cheats and find their actual effects in ASM? Then debug the values being set and see where they're used. A simple breakpoint on access should reveal several instructions. Then simply form up an array of bytes to be scanned in the new version of the game and just debug that piece of code in your new version. Easy-peasy.
Re: Two Worlds v1.6 hero speed (donation negotiable)
I will upload 1.0 version on my mediafire too so
Btw, I've made some game tests. By changing speed values from my table - "overall run speed", "backdash speed", "attack distance" and "speed multiplier when weapon is on" I've managed to make combat a bit more intense... Speedhack 1.6 there is too. (I've swapped NPC's attack animations too, but that's outside CE, the camera cheat from my table is not needed too, there is working console command in game).
Previously, You just get to opponent, spam combos and stunlock him, no chances to NPC make dodge... Now, when hero speed is limited, fight with NPC's became more fun - they can finally put their dodges in work.
If I will somehow get that hero attack speed multiplier and get rid of glitches I would be in gaming heaven, make this game even more intense and start playing this game like crazy
I'm believing in You guys!
Re: Two Worlds v1.6 hero speed (donation negotiable)
No, it doesn't. Only CE speedhack affect everyone there.
In standard game, the player hero character is much, much faster than every other NPC/monster in game world. In both movement and attack categories
So on video, when my hero speed values were lowered it can looks like NPC's and player are equal finally (still hero attack speed is much faster than NPC's).
That's why I'm searching for speed values, to make player character slower than enemies which will makes the game more interesting.
The game is awesome, but combat with dumbed down enemies takes out fun from it.
Btw I've modified Dark Souls and Dragon's Dogma with same rules - slow down player character with found multiplier and then speedhack whole game so Your character is at standard speed (or just a bit faster than in vanilla game) but enemies notably faster than him. Had much, much more fun with those games than before, no jokes.
Re: Two Worlds v1.6 hero speed (donation negotiable)
Ok @SunBeam, here are links to 1.0 version - 4 parts and readme (forgotten to pack that .txt it into archive, skip step #1 inside it btw)
[Link]
Before installing 1.0 version backup Your registry in regedit (for easy swap between 1.0 and 1.6 version of game in future) - then delete whole Reality Pump key folder (HKEY_CURRENT_USER->Software->Reality Pump).
Don't uninstall 1.6 version if You installed it before.
As in instruction, run setup.reg file.
After run Regsetup.exe. Regsetup.exe can give You error message that it was installed already - when it happens, just go to Control Panel or CCleaner Uninstall Programs section, and there should be program named "Two Worlds" by dopeman. Delete it and run regsetup.exe again, it should works now (then choose main directory of 1.0 version).
After You want to swap back to 1.6, don't delete 1.0 files - just again delete whole Reality Pump key from registry, and then just restore Your backup of registry that You've saved before installing v1.0. 1.6 should work now again (It's impossible to have working both 1.0 and 1.6 versions at same time).
Ok, here are commands that are important for me with default values:
physx.char.Speed = 10.0 OR physX.char.SpeedMul=10.0 (dunno difference between them, didn't checked if accesses same adress - but physx.char.Speed = 10.0 was declared in some sort of config file of 1.0 of game so it's maybe more important, dunno)
OVERALL RUN SPEED in my table
physX.char.WWSpeed = 0.2
ATTACK DISTANCE in my table
physX.char.JumpBackSpeed = 0.1
BACKDASH SPEED in my table
To change this values through console, run it (~ key of course), copy them, paste in game with ctr+V, and type value, for example physx.char.Speed 5562
= is not required,
SPEED WITH WEAPON ON value I need too, but sadly, it doesn't exist in 1.0 version of game. In 1.6 I've found it by accident when browsing nearby adresses near BACKDASH SPEED adress (small offset was). But, if I don't change it to cosmic values, just to 0.65 from default 0.8 value It brings no side effects. So, I think it's safe.
Have fun, and good luck!
Here is full list of pre v1.3 console commands (at 1.3 patch they became disabled)

By the way, @ColonelRVH any progress for You?

Re: Two Worlds v1.6 hero speed (donation negotiable)
No, been busy with work & other things, might continue today.
Re: Two Worlds v1.6 hero speed (donation negotiable)
Ok huge progress for me.
Didn't found any multiplier, but found a way to change ANY animation start/end/collision point.
It would be impossible without this game spreadsheat
[Link]
Test video on simple bear.
So, how the situation looks like now - my request changed...
The donation, rules (need to see proof video before negotiations), etc. stays the same.
But the objective changes - no overall speed multiplier, now I only need the issues with some hero values fixed.
Like in my previous posts here, those values in "problemos.ct" table:
OVERALL RUN SPEED
SPEED WITH WEAPON ON
BACKDASH SPEED
ATTACK DISTANCE
...Should have impact only on those speeds/values. No bugged landscape/grass/textures/shadows etc.
And by the way, sorry about "problemos.ct" file last time - I've forgotten to delete test hotkey there (backdash speed value change with 1 keyboard key). Re-uploading table in attachment.
Good luck!
PS.
@SunBeam have You tried Your "codeplasty" method?
I saw 4 downloads of Two Worlds 1.0 on my mediafire, hope it was You too

Re: Two Worlds v1.6 hero speed (donation negotiable)
Can't tell the difference in the video, or you meant the bear's attack is faster?
Re: Two Worlds v1.6 hero speed (donation negotiable)
Hmmmmm watch it again so maybe, easy to spot difference I thinkColonelRVH wrote: ↑Thu Apr 27, 2017 3:09 pmCan't tell the difference in the video, or you meant the bear's attack is faster?
Animation speed multiplier stays the same.
But the starting and ending point of animation I've changed - so in result, bear don't spend half of his daytime on raising up on legs before he hits You - now he do that near immediately. The recovery time is reduced too - animation ends earlier now.
If I remember correctly, the Values which I've changed of Bear "anStrike0[]" animation (I think 4 byte value means frame here) are:
Starting point - from 251 to 285
Ending point - from 320 to 294
Collision (hit) point - 292 unchanged
Easy to do, values for choosen animation are just near each other (offset 4), but pointer scan for it is not so cool - need make level 7 scan with 1536 max offset, only good thing is that I can "find out what accesses this adress" so I know with what offset pointer need to end

Re: Two Worlds v1.6 hero speed (donation negotiable)
Finally, the long awaiting Walk Speed hack has arrived in [Extra].
Although it's god damn hard for me, it's free. (Kidding)
Enjoy,
