^ are you telling me that the player's coordinates are not collected; and thus free roam is not working (as it uses them coordinates) ? Unless - during these missions - a different part of the program/exe is used...
If - with free roam enabled - you can not move about (but coordinates do change), try following:
a. right-click Xval and select 'what writes to this address'; then move about a bit.
b. in that new window, at least 1 line of opcode should appear. make prtscrn and get me image_link...
(tip: click on one of them opcode lines, then expand bottompart so I can see everything there as well: such as eax, ebx, etc...)
Sorry, could have worded it better.
But yes, it seems collecting the coordinates isn´t possible and free roam can´t be activated. I always get the "Pointers not yet collected" message, even after playing multiple minutes, reaching checkpoints, doing stuff etc. (table activated after fully loading/ starting the mission).
In these secret dungeon missions there also is no map available, if thats of importance. Thank you for your time
^ it rarely happens in AC titles, but it is possible that they use a different opcode for coordinates here. Will have a look, probably this coming weekend...
Thanks for your tables in AC. Regarding the invisibility and Templar awareness for this table, seems some units like those rifleman are just eager to fucking eyeball ezio or any of his escorts they start shooting as soon as they see us haha, most units ignore though,,, for the Templar awareness, I'm not sure at all if it's working since I ultimately have to edit to zero my notoriety since it still increases the awareness
^ "Templar awareness": see readme. if rifleman still notice you, it means devs ignored (forgot ?) to apply that invisibility_flag here. If it only happens during specific missions, then it is intended as such.

Seems riflemen detection is everywhere now even during free roam.
Regarding the readme for Templar awareness, I read that part about swapping in-game, what would one swap?
EDIT: seems the only things increasing templar awareness is the actions of buying Shops or those "tourist" spots haha, other than that every other "suspicious" activity will not affect awareness
^"swapping in-game": set the value accordingly in the table, then swap (alt+tab) back 'ingame' (= you have control of your character)
thx for the info btw. I do not think having spent much time on this 'awareness'; did not like it all that much, incl that tower defense feature.
Thanks for the clarification! And yeah, I agree with you on that about the awareness and tower defense that I pretty much prioritized getting my recruits to Master Assassins to lock down the dens hahaha
>>regarding Invisibility, the devs must messed it up intentionally that in every mission with the "don't get detected" as optional, they made sure it's not working at all lol
EDIT:
Sequence 1 - Invisibility works well and no requirements for "Don't get detected"
Sequence 2 - Memory 3, just getting on the rooftop and the guards will go on the attack
Sequence 3, the rooftop guards are able to detect the player Sequence 3 Memory 6 and Memory 10 (Have Do not Get detected as requirement for full synchro)
Sequence 4 and beyond - currently in progress lol
Master Assassin Missions - mostly on escort missions, seems that the "invisibility" setting is turned off even for ground guards not just rooftop guards
^ seems to work fine on my end: [ [Link] ] (S3M6)
(I also tried S2M3; and walking in front of some rooftop-gunners etc without issues)
some remarks:
a. while testing that mission, I walked through 2 different "guards"-lines (= 2 guards guarding a doorway): in some cases, you will be detected (I think depending the type of guards standing there ~ this happens in other AC titles as well btw)
b. since i blew the side_objective, restarted memory and noticed 'invisible' no longer seemed to work ?! Did a main_script dis/enable, and things worked back as expected. And I did try to reproduce but couldn't... (kept on working fine thereafter)
c. i also ran into 2 guards: they both got alarmed, but only one actually chased me down...
Yeah, it's weird, very inconsistent implementation of the devs with the detection and with their own actual invisibility just not working despite having been "activated"

Yes it seems like something is different in the DLC. In Brotherhood and AC 2 your tables work perfectly fine during comparable "special" missions.
