But is it safe? Before the newest few updates, the game would only detect something was wrong and kick me out if I entered the Serenitea Pot or exited it with Cheat Engine running. Now it just randomly detects it when I fast travel sometimes. I assume that if the game detects this error enough times someone might take a look at my account and maybe ban me.

Which options are you using? I have only ever gotten the error when returning to single player, never fast-traveling.
