Can you tell me how to add codes to Ryujinx?
Yeah, I can try. There's some videos on Youtube probably about as helpful/not helpful as me, but here goes ^_^

You boot up Ryujinx and right click on your game on the list and open up MOD folder. The file path will look something like this
C:\Users\xxxx\AppData\Roaming\Ryujinx\mods\contents\010093801237c000\010093801237C000\cheats
You have to make some of those folders manually and insert them yourself. That's the title ID for Dread up there.
Then make a text file titled with the build ID. Here 49161D9CCBC15DF9
Then just put your cheats in the text like normal. Here's an example.

[Metroid Dread]

[Inf HP]
580F0000 6E244BD0
580F1000 00000800
780F0000 0000065C
640F0000 00000000 42C60000

[Invincible]
04000000 0111E104 34000123

They're spotty. Like invinicbility works against colliding with baddies, but not their projectiles. And one hit kills still get you every time. The HP just randomly keeps juggling your HP number, so sometimes it juggles straight to zero. But best I could find.
Other codes on that Tinfoil link I posted. Hope it helps some.
Can these codes on tinfoil.io be used with Yuzu in the same way as the above quote?

I'm not sure. I don't use Yuzu much. If Yuzu has native cheat support, it would be in their FAQ on their website. I'll check.

EDIT: Seems a bit more complicated than Ryujinx, but here you go. [Link]

Hopefully someone can just make a Cheat Engine table for Metroid Dread. That is the easiest way to do it.

Those cheats do work on Yuzu. The opcodes are the same - those hex values you see there like 42C60000 and so on patching stuff - and those are working on the very same game (.nsp image version of the game - 010093801237C000 version "v0").

So this is how I have it set up, and when I view the properties I see my mods. However I cannot get any of the inf hp mods to work. What am I missing?

I figured out that my cheats weren't working because I had the text file named incorrectly. The file name needs to be the first 16 characters of the build ID of the game, and in the case of Metroid Dread v0 is 49161D9CCBC15DF9. I was able to find the build ID via google.

How do we get these cheats to show up in Yuzu (or Ryujinx for that matter?) I created a text file named 49161D9CCBC15DF9 and inside I inserted the codes as found on here. When inside Yuzu, I right click Dread and choose Properties and nothing shows up inside to activate (cheats). So what did I miss?

**Nvm - I found out the issue. Was a folder structure issue. For anyone else needing this tidbit of info. the folder structure needs to be the following (Based on the game and ID, of course) -

C:\Users\(Your User Name)\AppData\Roaming\yuzu\load\010093801237C000\Cheats\cheats and in this final cheats folder, the notepad doc with the cheats in it. Though I think you can make several note docs in there, each with a single code so you can turn them on/off at will but I've not tried that yet.

Hope it helps anyone else confused or lost on these issues.

**This information was strictly based on Metroid Dread in Yuzu using Title ID - 010093801237C000.

Thank you so much for sharing what you know! I tried following your directions, but was unable to get cheats to work on my end.

This is how I have my files setup:

Basically, each Cheat needs it's own folder within the Title ID folder, like so:
Image

Then, you need a Cheats folder inside each of those folders above. So you have:
yuzu > load > [TitleID] > [Name of Cheat] > cheats > [BuildID].txt
For Metroid Dread, the [TitleID] is: 010093801237C000
and the [BuildID] is: 49161D9CCBC15DF9
and [Name of Cheat] is anything you want, like "Inf. Missiles"
and you put the code into the .txt file

So you end up with a structure like this:
Image

Finally, before you launch the game, you can toggle these cheats on and off in the initial/launch menu for Yuzu by right-clicking your game and selecting "properties."

Hope this helps!
