I too have helped, posting GENERIC shit like you did. Your definition of helping is throwing breadcrumbs of information without anything that'd let the user replicate what you're saying there. That's not "helping"; it's "hey, I figured it out; here's some freakin' bone so you too can struggle doing it; I'm not stupid to give all of it out on a platter". Figures for this game you wouldn't have shit to show, as your usual way of debugging and posting code snippets is now blocked by Warden. Yet you're still claiming you've done more than I did... with all the proof I am posting. I'll stop when you leave. Since you don't obviously want to make a trainer, there's nothing else for you to be in this topic or on this forum, with regards to this game. So bye bye already.
SOMETHING HELPFUL:
Warden forces any newly spawned thread to terminate by replacing the prologue of the function the thread is running with a RET Smart thinking. The writing is done in user-mode:
Gotta find out what catches the thread creation notification.
Game uses INT for almost all data, data may NOT be normally 4 byte aligned, there is precursor number before the data indicating what it is (1 for attack, 6 for HP, 4 for attribute points, etc.) but the struct may not be in order, and data may not be present if you haven't done anything. Data is stored in 4 structs, and all of them appear to need to be modified or it appears that things get messed up and don't work properly (i.e. you still die, spells have no effect, blah blah). You CAN edit data in the game using memory editors like CE, and it sticks with saves. You can make some pretty powerful characters fairly quick once you isolated the 4 struct locations, which appear to be same layout in each struct, with the associated things I mentioned.
It's changing because it's an array, or 4 array to be exact, 2 for real value while another 2 for display value...
It comes with ID & value same as older game...
It shouldn't matter for CH, as they're not gonna make a trainer for this game. Let's wait and see how they'll just blatantly copy-paste all of the information from FRF into their no-trainer. Mark my words.
You can mod D2 save Original version ex. 1.14d with Hero Editor, save. Copy mod save to D2R save folder enter game click OFFLINE.
Do you mind sharing the save with that talisman? It will solve all of my issues and the time sink to fix them. Thanks in advance.
PM me your save file and I can do it for you.
Hi guy. I downloaded Hero Editor (https://www.moddb..com/games/diablo-2-lod/downloads/hero-editor-v-104) but it does not support the current version. Can you guide me how to do it? or can you give me link to download Hero Editor editable this version.
