Continue After Diablo will let you continue playing after killing Diablo. This allows you to collect dropped items, retain XP from killing Diablo
, and kill any leftover monsters, maybe even go into the Hive and Crypts.
Note that dead Diablo will remain standing as a statue. I don't think there is any graphic for Diablo to be lying prone in the game. Since the game does not end, the endgame cinematic will not play even if Skip Cinematics is off. For the same reason, hotkeys are also not locked.
After killing Diablo and finishing whatever you have to, save and start a new game as you would normally to start with a new difficulty. Use Skip Cinematics to lock hotkeys when starting a new game.
Bug Fix: If you enabled Always Run and then disabled it, it was impossible to enable it again. Fixed.
If you used automatic cheats through command.txt you will need to update the numbers. The
good news is, you can now directly get the list of cheats that are currently active from the table itself. So enable all the scripts you want, then click
Edit > Automatic Cheats and the text you need to paste into command.txt will be copied to the clipboard. See the manual for where to paste.
Improvement: Setting a value for Spell Levels will set that value for all spells. Or, you can enter a number for any branch under Spell Levels to set the same number for all spells in that branch.
Updated manual.
