Can you try turning it on by clicking on it with mouse instead of hotkey? I'm not sure why it doesn't work for you. I tested it and it was turning off and on for me with the app.

Is it a problem with the mods? I'm using Toybox and Respec Mod while using the trainer. Maybe that's the problem?
Oh, yes that does cause a problem. Toybox modifies some functions with their custom code and it messes things up. It would be too much work to make it compatible with Toybox, so I don't support it.
Well, everything save multiple feats is working with Toybox, and Toybox itself has its own multiple feats option, so it should be fine.
That is, everything I care about in the trainer. Haven't actually tested every function, there are far too many.
Just downloaded Pathfinder: Wrath of the Righteous v0.8.0m PLUS 88 Trainer.
But when I tried to run it, both FearlessRevolution.exe and Launcher.exe only showed Release version of trainer.

Curious why do you want the beta version? It was unreleased because we thought it's no longer needed but we would release it again.

If you set it to 1, then it should only duplicate the feat type of features. If you start a new class or sometimes in regular leveling up, other types of things show up to level up.
