Yes the Script doesn't activate. I tried it first and seemed to have a starting value of 2 but did not change after a death (not sure what happened here, [ but all the further attempts to run it, the script won't start / find address]). I can't find my deaths by searching for them either

For both:
Perhaps your versions don't match with the version shared table for a reason because those are different or you're not using the last updated version of Cheat Engine, in any case, i have downloaded some GOG version (could be old or newer, was just for demo) and below here's how you'll find what you are looking for, the address is static, so it will always be like that (for that version)!I also tested the shared table for Windows Store, not working with GOG, for GOG address is limbo.exe+45FD60 as static, while the address for Windows Store shared by SovietWristwatch.jpg is Limbo.exe+3CF378, could be also static (i don't own it in Windows Store).
Therefore, here's some weird and awful demo regarding how to find the death counter on your own, starting with a new game and adding from start 0, since there were no deaths:

Finally got around to actually playing and the original one worked for me, achievement popped with the complete game achievement when the credits started.
