Hooking instructions in Bluestacks with Cheat Engine

So, I've got ceserver running and can now successfully debug bluestacks! My next hurdle is writing scripts. I can find the same aob's from ceserver when connected outside of bluestacks ("hd-player"), but I cannot write any kind of script other than basic nops or the game crashes.

Been researching this a bit. Found some info here: [Link], but, admittedly, I don't really understand DarkBytes suggestion there. I'm trying to hook an instruction to retrieve a value, but crashes every time.
