Tried using trusted installer permissions to delete or replace them, still couldn't.
even using Linux to modify them and then when i came back to Windows, it detected them as changed and added them to mutable folder (because of change in game manifest and hash).
so really, how do you copy/delete/move files that are protected in Windows Store folder?
How do you delete/move Windows Store game files?

Re: How do you delete/move Windows Store game files?
I don't have the full answer, as I also struggle with this.
I wanted to simply be able to read the content of .dlls and .exe from the WindowsApps folder, for reverse engineering with tools.
I took ownership of the WindowsApps folder (or individual subfolders), running with admin permissions, it didn't work.
But after I turned on developer mode (in settings -> developer settings), all those permissions and ownership changes (that I attempted previously), now took some effect, and I can read the .dlls and .exes. I don't know if it was a coincidence or not, I didn't purse it forward.
But I am still unable to modify anything.
I hope someone can share solutions.
