Nope, no mods, and it was a fresh start of the game and even a fresh world. I just wanted to try out some building physics weight playing around sandbox-wise so I was mostly interested in just the unlimited building.
In the previous version of the game (as of some days ago) and the 2.0 script, the free crafting/upgrading/building didn't consume resources. That said I kind of like it how it is now, that it lets me build stuff even without the resources, as it lets me tinker around with advanced structure materials without having to go actually get the materials first.
Well there must still be a error on your end since it works just perfect for me
Also did you check the stuff in "Activate Me! - If you have any Problems."?

How to use this cheat table?
Install Cheat Engine
Double-click the .CT file in order to open it.
Click the PC icon in Cheat Engine in order to select the game process.
Keep the list.
Activate the trainer options by checking boxes or setting values from 0 to 1

Nope, was using the "Building" marked one. But I'll check the other thing when I play again.
Damn, I think mods like V+ and maybe a few other mods I think broke the instant skill up. Though, weird since I dont use any mods that modify skill. Darn shame!

V+ is known to break a lot things in my Table
I run around 20+ mods along with V+ and have had no issues with your table at all, so honestly not sure why other people are having so many issues xD

For example:
Unlimited Stamina didn't worked for me when using V+
Free Cam crashed my game when using SkToolbox

Might be due to how you have the mod configs set as well then, as I'm able to use unlimited stamina alongside V+ although V+ does have config options which kinda negate having to use unlimited stamina anyways xD

Mhm that's strange.
Maybe they changed something in the mod, was some mod updates ago that I tested it.
to get the free building options to work for me in the current version, i have to build something first. it can be anything, like a campfire, but if i launch the game and launch the script and try to enable that option but haven't built anything, it won't enable. as soon as i build something, it'll work
