Re: [REQUEST] YAKUZA 3/4/5 REMASTERED ON STEAM
Haven't started this game yet (plan on getting to it tomorrow) but if they are similar to previous parts I would love cheats for minigames (cabaret/karaoke/baseball etc)

Re: [REQUEST] YAKUZA 3/4/5 REMASTERED ON STEAM
Hi friends! I made a simple CE table for the Microsoft Store version of Yakuza 3 and 4 for anyone who is interested in it.
Cheat options:
- Cash;
- Health;
- Heat;
- Abilities (Yakuza 4);
- Experience.

Re: [REQUEST] YAKUZA 3/4/5 REMASTERED ON STEAM
This is merely a collection of static addresses and the occasional pointer I picked up while playing Yakuza 3, just in case someone can find a use for it. I was not able to attach a debugger to anything in this game without it crashing - and I'm a noob - so that's it.
Game: Yakuza 3 (Steam)
Cheat Engine: 7.2
Values: Hostesses, Karaoke, Health, Heat, XP, Yen, some misc. achievement-related stuff
Update 1: added a do-more-damage (TM) script under Experimental; cleaned up the table to decrease file size. Removed superfluous table.
Update 2: added main inventory.
Update 3: added values for all hostess trainees.
Update 4:
- Billiards: only switch turns to player
- Billiards: pocket multiple balls at once
- Billiards: Rotation, player gets all points
- Yen do not decrease
Update 5:
- Player takes no damage
- Player can not be hit
- Heat does not decrease
- Timer does not run out
- Drawn weapon has infinite health
- Drawn weapon has infinite ammo
- Darts: 01, player wins in one hit
- Darts: Cricket/Count-up, player wins in one round
Note: also made some small improvements to existing entries.
Update 6:
- Karaoke: get max. score in current song
- Sea Fishing: fishing line does not break from tension
- Mahjong: player gets 999.999 points
- Item does not get removed through use
- Chase: opponent starts with low stamina
Note: the chase script was only tested with Mack's training (starting in chapter 9), since that was what I had short-term access to. If the script does not work in other scenarios, I'd be glad to know of it.
Update 7:
- Aroma Massage: serene performance
- Bowling: player always throws strikes
- Cee-lo: player always gets triple-1, opponents are less lucky
- Cho-han: dice always come up snake eyes
- Koi-koi: only player earns points
- Golf: player strokes do not increase
Note: removed broken Golf strokes pointer.
Update 8:
- Blackjack: house acts as if the player got 21
- Roulette: 17 always wins (activate before/while ball is brought into play)
- Batting: infinite pitches
- Batting: complete course in one at-bat
- Oicho-kabu: player (almost) always wins, regardless of actual card values
- Shogi: fix take back counter
- Shogi: mine, mine, mine! (every tile the opponent moves turns into a player tile)
- Boxcelios: fix enemy timer
- UFO Catcher: infinite turns
- added values for UFO Catcher prizes and fish caught to Minigames category
Notes: the card-related scripts in this update will work (almost) irrespective of the actual card values; some special, rare configurations will help an opponent to victory, but the overwhelming balance of results should be in the player's favour.
A general note about minigame-related scripts, which I neglected to make previously: in most cases, you need to at least start a minigame once before the associated script can be activated. Sometimes, especially if your session has just begun, you'll have to make some input first (acting on a button prompt in Karaoke, for example) in order to make the game load the appropriate libraries that cheat engine needs to inject instructions.
Update 9:
- Poker: player wins more chips
- added entry for Difficulty Level
- added entries for Weapon Modding (completion), Heat Actions (completion)
Cheers.

Re: [REQUEST] YAKUZA 3/4/5 REMASTERED ON STEAM
Here is a - very rudimentary - table with some basic values and scripts for Yakuza 4; I'll possibly add more as I'm playing the game. Hope it helps somebody.
Game: Yakuza 4 (Steam)
Cheat Engine: 7.2
Values: Karaoke, Health, Heat, XP, Yen, Soul Orbs, Damage done, Enemy Health, misc.
Update 1:
- added main inventory, some minigame-related scripts and values, weapon health script, sobriety script
- fixed script injection conflicts
Update 2:
- added script that makes the opponent in a chase get severely reduced stamina
- added script that makes the player not sustain damage (can still be grabbed and be subjected to hit animation)
- added script that makes the player unhittable (can still be grabbed)
- added script that makes the player not lose heat
A word of context: I'm still playing as Akiyama (just started Chapter 3), so if some values or scripts don't work for later player characters, I'll address that when I get there. Also, still a noob, so let me know if stuff does not work.
Update 3:
- added script which allows creating/updating items without meeting requirements
Note: the script for item modding is highly experimental; your PC should not catch on fire, but I'll not vouch either way... It worked for me, but please save in a different slot, check for missing items and disable it after use.
Update 4:
- (script) player may buy many meals at once (see notes)
- (script) fixed XP multiplier (see notes)
- (values) hostess maker: hostess data
- (script) hostess maker: all dresses are made available (see notes)
- (values) essentials, inventory for all player characters
- (script) Unlimited ammo
- some misc. values
Notes:
The multiple meals script modifies player max health, which is messy, but that was the only way I got it to work; only toggle it inside a restaurant and don't otherwise force health values while doing it.
The hostess maker script should add all dresses to the hostess menu; can be enabled/disabled once and then safely ignored. This _may_ help with the Fashionista trophy; can't test, since I already got it before making this script (omg, that was a slog).
Any clue how to add a non-address input/text box to the standard cheat table, if that's even possible, would be welcome. As is, scripts like XP multiplier only use a fixed value.
The very first value in the table is now an indicator for which player character is active; that's not for changing the character, just as a reminder which essentials/inventory to use. All scripts _should_ now work for all player characters, but I might have missed some. Please let me know.
Update 5:
- Aroma Massage: serene performance
- Table Tennis: maximum heat
- Table Tennis: opponent does not score
- Table Tennis: player wins a game in one point
- Roulette: 17 always wins
- Blackjack: player card value is always counted as 21
- Poker: player earns more chips for winning
- Pool: don't switch turn to opponent
- Pool: Rotation, sink all balls at once
- Baccarat: game always results in a tie
- Cho-han: always roll snake eyes
- Oicho-kabu: player hand gets evaluated as Four/Nine-One every time
- Cee-lo: player always gets triple-1, opponents are less lucky
- Koi-koi: only player earns points
- Mahjong: player gets 999.999 points
- Shogi: every tile the opponent moves, turns into a player tile
- Batting: complete course in one at-bat
- Batting: infinite pitches
- Items do not get removed through use
- Money does not decrease
- added entry for Difficulty Level
- added several misc. values
Update 6:
- Bowling: player throws are always evaluated as strikes
- Bowling: Split, infinite balls
- Boxcelios 1: fix enemy timer
- Boxcelios 2: fix enemy timer
- Darts: 01, player wins in one hit
- Darts: Cricket/Count-up, player wins after the first round
- Golf: Near Pin, every stroke counts as hole-in-one
- Sea Fishing: fishing line will not break or slacken
- Shogi: preserve take backs
- UFO Catcher: infinite turns
- added Sodachi Dojo (Saejima) category
- added Hostesses category
- added swing speed modifier for Golf
- added entries for UFO Catcher prizes
Notes:
Renamed the original Shogi script to better reflect what it effectively does, i.e. make the opponent surrender; other small changes to existing entries.
Update 7:
- Boat Chase: infinite player health
- Modding: item costs no materials (see notes)
- Pool: pocket all balls except the last one
- Timer does not run out
- Timer runs out immediately
- added multiple sets of completion values (IF7-R, Heat Actions, Revelations, etc.)
- added multiple misc. values (time of day, police scanner, broken weapons, etc.)
Notes:
The modding script only works for items that are known and the item created always overwrites the first inventory slot, so make sure you keep that one empty when using the script.
I reordered and renamed some values in order to, hopefully, make a little more sense. Most of the completion values are under -- Misc -- and should be used with caution (save beforehand); they can't be turned off gracefully.
Cheers.

Re: [REQUEST] YAKUZA 3/4/5 REMASTERED ON STEAM
For those on Microsoft Store version of Yakuza 3, I finally got a solution for infinite weapon durability. My experience with Cheat Engine is limited to that of the tutorial and messing around with this game (and growing up with stuff like game shark). I'm not sure if what I've got is implemented in the most efficient method possible, however none of the normal value searching worked so I believe I have what is the best available solution.
Anyway there are dummy headers included in the table as instructional text, but incase anyone has issues, here is a screenshot that should explain it.
You need to click the advanced options on the bottom left and the address there seems to be the address that consumes weapon durability. Setting this to code that does nothing has resulted in zero unintended consequences but simply freezes the weapon durability as expected. Upon using the restore to original value function, weapons expire again as normal and break and repair as normal, so this seems to be a lossless/harmless edit.
Also included are Money, Health, Heat, Exp.
Will update if I get more done, but weapon durability was the big one I wanted since the enemies in the game are just so turtly and block all day, having a strong weapon that can't break speeds up the fights quite a bit without feeling quite as game breaking as 1 shot kill (also prevents the bugs that one shot kills can bring).

Re: [REQUEST] YAKUZA 3/4/5 REMASTERED ON STEAM
No modding requirements should also be very useful as getting the required materials to mod some 80 items in this game is way too grindy and requires too much legwork.
Re: [REQUEST] YAKUZA 3/4/5 REMASTERED ON STEAM
I'm trying to do that for Yakuza 4, but - while I found a lot of values adjacent to modding, like item codes, base items and requirements - I can't find something to hook into the check for the presence of required items itself.
Re: [REQUEST] YAKUZA 3/4/5 REMASTERED ON STEAM
Update: I added that function to my table for Yakuza 4, would be great if people could test it.
Re: [REQUEST] YAKUZA 3/4/5 REMASTERED ON STEAM
I'd really appreciate if i can get item editor for Yakuza 3 and 5 as well. Thanks in advance.
Re: [REQUEST] YAKUZA 3/4/5 REMASTERED ON STEAM
I added the inventory to my table for Yakuza 3; I'll try to incorporate as many values/scripts from my Y4 table as I can, but some stuff (item modding f.i.) seems a lot less straight forward to translate back to Y3. I will make a table for Yakuza 5, but that could still be a while.
Re: [REQUEST] YAKUZA 3/4/5 REMASTERED ON STEAM
Thanks a lot for Yakuza 3 and 4 inventory table. I noticed inventory table is not working for Saejima , but worked for Akiyama in Yakuza 4. Hoping you fix it for all the Yakuza 4 characters when you get the time.oriberu wrote: ↑Tue Mar 30, 2021 10:58 pmI added the inventory to my table for Yakuza 3; I'll try to incorporate as many values/scripts from my Y4 table as I can, but some stuff (item modding f.i.) seems a lot less straight forward to translate back to Y3. Thanking you again. Also looking forward to your Yakuza 5 table in future.

Re: [REQUEST] YAKUZA 3/4/5 REMASTERED ON STEAM
Would anyone be able to make a hack for Yakuza 4 that would allow Tanimura & Akiyama to use certain weapons like guns, swords etc. I ask because for some strange reason these two characters cannot use these types of weapons in-game, only Kiryu & Saejima seem to be able to. I can't remember if this applies to Yakuza 5 as well as I haven't played that game for some time now but I have a feeling it does.
*EDIT*: I forgot to mention that they actually can use these types of weapons in-game but only by picking them up in random fights. What I was referring to was actually having them be able to equip them in the items slot on the pause menu as there is some really good weapons that you unfortunately can't use with Tanimura & Akiyama.

Oriberu:
This table is exactly what I was looking for, great work! Some functions (inventory editing, player does more damage, possibly more) do not function while playing the other characters (At least Saejima, possibly others). It would be awesome to see the table updated (Hostess Maker options could be nice, maybe the massage minigame if you are looking for suggestions) and with full support for the other characters. Of course, the table is much appreciated either way. Thanks again!
