[REQUEST] YAKUZA 3/4/5 REMASTERED ON STEAM

I started playing Yakuza 5 and made a preliminary table; more functions will be added as I proceed in the game.
Please let me know if you encounter problems with it.

Game: Yakuza 5 (Steam)
Cheat Engine: 7.2

Features:

- Player takes no damage (still can be grabbed and suffers hit animations)
- Player does not lose heat
- Player does more damage (1000 pts fixed damage on every hit)
- Player can not be hit (no grabbing or hit animations)
- Player remains sober
- Player may order food items without restriction (activate before talking to the vendor)
- Some essential values for Kazuma Kiryu
- Some misc. values

Update 1:

- Always get max score in Karaoke
- Currently drawn weapon has infinite health
- Player may equip any weapon regardless of skill
- Success in hostess sessions
- Darts: win 01 with one throw
- Darts: every throw in Count-Up is valued as 60
- Inventory for Kazuma Kiryu
- Weapon skill progress values for Kiryu
- Karaoke values
- Updated no-hit function to be player character-agnostic

Update 2:

Important: Added inventory scripting and usage rules to address a bug where an item inserted with the editor would become invisible and immovable once added to the item box. Please switch to the most recent version of this table.

Essentially, when inserting or removing an item with the -- Inventory -- editor, hit the activation check box on the same row as the item slot afterwards. Background: since there does not seem to be an event that fires when a memory record value is changed by the user, I have to make the user trigger the needed change manually (sorry).

Update 3:

- Prevent usable items from being decreased
- Currently drawn weapon's ammo does not decrease
- Ramen game: player is always right
- Taiko No Tatsujin: always clear spirit gauge
- Taiko No Tatsujin: score to 999.999
- UFO Catcher: infinite plays
- some misc. values

Notes: the scripts category became quite unwieldy, so I put minigame-related ones into their own group.

- Sotenbori Love Check Quiz: every answer counts as correct

Notes: "Kamiyama WORKS: invested items" is a value in -- Misc -- that can be set to "all"; this should make the process of crafting equipment a little more straightforward.

Update 10:

Added a new category named -- Completion -- which contains a number of addresses that reflect the completion state of side activities in the game. Please read the notes included in the table before use. I did not find working addresses for Treasure Hunts; those probably require map items to be present in the inventory, too.

Don't know if you're still maintaining these, but could you edit the Yakuza 5 code with options for Mahjong and Shogi like in Y3 & Y4 please? And maybe something for the Gunrhein completion list?

This is merely a collection of static addresses and the occasional pointer I picked up while playing Yakuza 3, just in case someone can find a use for it. I was not able to attach a debugger to anything in this game without it crashing - and I'm a noob - so that's it.

Update 1: added a do-more-damage (TM) script under Experimental; cleaned up the table to decrease file size. Removed superfluous table.

Note: the chase script was only tested with Mack's training (starting in chapter 9), since that was what I had short-term access to. If the script does not work in other scenarios, I'd be glad to know of it.

- Cee-lo: player always gets triple-1, opponents are less lucky
- Cho-han: dice always come up snake eyes
- Koi-koi: only player earns points

- Oicho-kabu: player (almost) always wins, regardless of actual card values
- Shogi: fix take back counter
- Shogi: mine, mine, mine! (every tile the opponent moves turns into a player tile)
- Boxcelios: fix enemy timer
- UFO Catcher: infinite turns
- added values for UFO Catcher prizes and fish caught to Minigames category

Notes: the card-related scripts in this update will work (almost) irrespective of the actual card values; some special, rare configurations will help an opponent to victory, but the overwhelming balance of results should be in the player's favour.

A general note about minigame-related scripts, which I neglected to make previously: in most cases, you need to at least start a minigame once before the associated script can be activated. Sometimes, especially if your session has just begun, you'll have to make some input first (acting on a button prompt in Karaoke, for example) in order to make the game load the appropriate libraries that cheat engine needs to inject instructions.

Glad to read that.

Still, once I have updated all tables to the point where I'd like them to be (mainly to support all minigames) I'll try to make versions that rely on a detected base address for all of them -- similar to the test table I linked; in principle, those should then be compatible with other Steam versions or the game pass edition.

Hey. Thanks for the CT. And sorry for the late reply. I have already used it for bowling, karaoke and golf. Would be great to add some functions like the steam CT. Like Billard getting all points or darts 01 win. Mahjong doesn't change the value for me. But I don't know the rules for this game. So this might be my problem.

I will try to use the steam CT for gamepass in a few days. Maybe I am lucky. But I would never have done 3 strikes in a row without your CT. Thanks.

This is merely a collection of static addresses and the occasional pointer I picked up while playing Yakuza 3, just in case someone can find a use for it. I was not able to attach a debugger to anything in this game without it crashing - and I'm a noob - so that's it.

Game: Yakuza 3 (Steam)
Cheat Engine: 7.2
Values: Hostesses, Karaoke, Health, Heat, XP, Yen, some misc. achievement-related stuff

Update 1: added a do-more-damage (TM) script under Experimental; cleaned up the table to decrease file size. Removed superfluous table.

Update 2: added main inventory.

Update 3: added values for all hostess trainees.

Update 4:

- Billiards: only switch turns to player
- Billiards: pocket multiple balls at once
- Billiards: Rotation, player gets all points
- Yen do not decrease

Update 5:

- Player takes no damage
- Player can not be hit
- Heat does not decrease
- Timer does not run out
- Drawn weapon has infinite health
- Drawn weapon has infinite ammo
- Darts: 01, player wins in one hit
- Darts: Cricket/Count-up, player wins in one round

Note: also made some small improvements to existing entries.

Update 6:

- Karaoke: get max. score in current song
- Sea Fishing: fishing line does not break from tension
- Mahjong: player gets 999.999 points
- Item does not get removed through use
- Chase: opponent starts with low stamina

Note: the chase script was only tested with Mack's training (starting in chapter 9), since that was what I had short-term access to. If the script does not work in other scenarios, I'd be glad to know of it.

Update 7:

- Aroma Massage: serene performance
- Bowling: player always throws strikes
- Cee-lo: player always gets triple-1, opponents are less lucky
- Cho-han: dice always come up snake eyes
- Koi-koi: only player earns points
- Golf: player strokes do not increase

Note: removed broken Golf strokes pointer.

Update 8:

- Blackjack: house acts as if the player got 21
- Roulette: 17 always wins (activate before/while ball is brought into play)
- Batting: infinite pitches
- Batting: complete course in one at-bat
- Oicho-kabu: player (almost) always wins, regardless of actual card values
- Shogi: fix take back counter
- Shogi: mine, mine, mine! (every tile the opponent moves turns into a player tile)
- Boxcelios: fix enemy timer
- UFO Catcher: infinite turns
- added values for UFO Catcher prizes and fish caught to Minigames category

Notes: the card-related scripts in this update will work (almost) irrespective of the actual card values; some special, rare configurations will help an opponent to victory, but the overwhelming balance of results should be in the player's favour.

A general note about minigame-related scripts, which I neglected to make previously: in most cases, you need to at least start a minigame once before the associated script can be activated. Sometimes, especially if your session has just begun, you'll have to make some input first (acting on a button prompt in Karaoke, for example) in order to make the game load the appropriate libraries that cheat engine needs to inject instructions.

Update 9:

- Poker: player wins more chips

Question for Oriberu or anyone else but pertaining to their Yakuza 3 Remastered cheat table. The fishing line being unable to break due to tension doesnt work the way it does in the yakuza 4 table for the same minigame at least not for me. All the other scripts work great. All it says when I click the line of script is 'Error while scanning for AOB's: InjectSeaFishingLineTension Error: Not all results found' Any ideas or help would be appreciated.

Update 1:

- Always get max score in Karaoke
- Currently drawn weapon has infinite health
- Player may equip any weapon regardless of skill
- Success in hostess sessions
- Darts: win 01 with one throw
- Darts: every throw in Count-Up is valued as 60
- Inventory for Kazuma Kiryu
- Weapon skill progress values for Kiryu
- Karaoke values
- Updated no-hit function to be player character-agnostic

Update 2:

Important: Added inventory scripting and usage rules to address a bug where an item inserted with the editor would become invisible and immovable once added to the item box. Please switch to the most recent version of this table.

Essentially, when inserting or removing an item with the -- Inventory -- editor, hit the activation check box on the same row as the item slot afterwards. Background: since there does not seem to be an event that fires when a memory record value is changed by the user, I have to make the user trigger the needed change manually (sorry).

Update 3:

- Prevent usable items from being decreased
- Currently drawn weapon's ammo does not decrease
- Ramen game: player is always right
- Taiko No Tatsujin: always clear spirit gauge
- Taiko No Tatsujin: score to 999.999

Please read the notes included in the table before use. I did not find working addresses for Treasure Hunts; those probably require map items to be present in the inventory, too.
