I tried modifying a soul core, but the game resets when I try to make any changes. Are we not supposed to be able to change stats on them?
Depends what you mean by "reset". If you give it invalid entries, it will 'reset' to randomly generated effects.
If by "reset" you mean the strength changes on load, then that is intended.
Even the strength value you've changed it to is usually display only. Each effect ID has a max strength and is reset to the calculated calue based on the effect footer.
If you mean the effect of an equipped core "resets", do it with the core un-equipped, then re-equip when done.
Is there anyone understanding how the OP (or whoever before the OP, the CT file says DhaosCollider) found the AOB '4C8B86xxxxxxxx49B9' for player_ptr??
I tried to find my own and was able to extract the pointer chain to player_ptr(simple pointer scan yoga), but that particular script w/ AOB '4C8B86xxxxxxxx49B9' does not write on any level of the pointer chain of mine.
And my pointer chain is 4-level and the scripts I found writes on the level-2 pointer so I must go up 2 levels to find the actual player_ptr, not as fancy as in the CT.
Anyway to change ID2(model) of an armor piece to none so it will show your "naked" model? Basically I wan't to use the "nothing eqipped" model on a set-piece like here:
I also asked this a few pages ago but nobody responded so I think they are not good enough to make it work xD
Changing difficulty doesn't seem to work, it crashes the game completely when trying to put it on dream of the nioh if you haven't cleared previous difficulties.
