Final Fantasy Type-0 tables not enabling

If this is in the wrong section I apologize.

I brushed the dust off this game to possibly actually play it all the way through this time, only to find out that all the cheat table I enjoyed used before, and the latest edition of it I found on here, both refuse to enable, instead putting CE into a "not responding" state lasting until I force crash CE . Might some kind person with better knowledge possibly help me or figure out why it's not working? I'm playing the Steam version, not sure if it's the 32- or 64-bit version (I could only find 2 executables, both of which load the launcher), which I'd imagine might be important.
