after pasting it into cheat engine it say

Script Error:[string "<?xml version="1.0" encoding="utf-8"?>
..."]:1: unexpected symbol near '<
paste it into cheat engine. Not into a script.

How to use this cheat table?
  1. Install Cheat Engine
  2. Double-click the .CT file in order to open it.
  3. Click the PC icon in Cheat Engine in order to select the game process.
  4. Keep the list.
  5. Activate the trainer options by checking boxes or setting values from 0 to 1

ok but where in cheat engine? :? I had put in into the window lua engine. I don't know what "into cheat engine" mean. I only know hot to search values, and use simple table :(

Edit : maybe you ask me to create a new .CT doc and past the code in, then merge with the "dragon quest XI S.CT" thing? if it's that, it didn't worked...
if instead you tell me to edit the .CT actual file... I don't even know where to do that in the file :?

From just looking at the script. DrummerIX enable script would scan for all version type. And make sure you attach the process. So it may be a human error on your part. Redownload his latest table from the 1st page.

I don't know what human error I could have made.

I downloaded the lastest table.
star the game and load the save.
selected the process in cheat engine
use the table
click the box (another box named enable appear)
click the enable box. and a window appear telling me that EXPReadInStatusAOB is not found.

so if I have done anything wrong, it's why i'm here to ask for help.

Well. I will upload the table that I am using. Check if you have the Definitive Edition too.

Open the table.
Yes to execute LUA script.
Attach to Game Process.
Enable at the Main Menu.

or

Right click on Enable > go to "Group Config" > Uncheck "Hide children when deactivated"
The [Scripts] does not require the Enable Cheat. But the Pointer do need it. So you will get P>???????? for them

Hopefully it work for you.

it's still doesn't work. still have the AOB message, and when I uncheck "hide children when deactivated" I still have P>??????? . I even tried to change the adress to match the actual adress (like gold, in some other games it worked to just adjust one adress to make the entire table to work) but it didn't worked. I even recheck the files of the game before. but maybe it's because i'm a french player. the game is named "ultimate edition" and not "definitive" maybe it's why???

So none of the scripts in [Scripts] work for you? Don't worry about the P>???????? stuff. That supposed to happen because the Enable Cheat is not on. If the script work then just use them. You can get gold through the Gold after battle script. Got to work with what you got. Or the next best thing is to learn how to make your own create.

Sometime you get lucky with AOB. Well, I am out of ideas. Best of Luck to you.

Hi guys, I was trying to find a way to cheat engine the Royal Jelly Flush as it's such a time sink. My first plan was to simply alter the incoming values for each of the poker slots, but those seem to just be display. I'm new to backtracing so it's been difficult for me to make sense of what's going on under the hood. Does this seem like the right way to go about this?

Hi there,

whenever I try to use the "Enable" option it just lags my game for a couple seconds and doesn't enable it.
It says <<Lua error in the script at line 17:[string "local synthax check,memrec=,,,,,,"]:53: attempt to perform aithmetic on a nil value>>
Where exactly did I mess up and how do I fix it?

EDIT: NVM IM AN IDIOT

EDIT 9.0 (November 12, 2024):
I've been revisiting this game again and decided to clean up some of the table I did. This doesn't have any new options, but I structured things a little different to not show every option until you actually click on the Enable portion of it and also I made the Activate Trainer only require one click to enable all those Activate options. Dragon Quest 3 HD 2D is releasing in couple of days and that has brought back DQ hype for me.
