fmalust requested the Party Modifier for the Definitive Edition. Pox originally did this option for the original. I found it again for this version and improved it a little by letting you change the number of people currently in your party also and have slots up to 7.
[Tested on fitgirl repack : Dragon Quest XI s : definitive Edition] all work except the code in :
> the pointer -> character editor didnt work
- its just pointed to the last companion that join the party (in my case hendrik)
- the pointer (the value) will appear only when select the last member that join the party

> the script -> party editor
- only up to 7? but i already have the 8 member slot.

edited:
after a lot of test, i figure out how the code [character editor]to work
- put the character you want to edit in the last slot ( in my case i put in the 8th slot)
- go to battle
- go to cheat engine, and now the code will show that character

How to use this cheat table?
  1. Install Cheat Engine
  2. Double-click the .CT file in order to open it.
  3. Click the PC icon in Cheat Engine in order to select the game process.
  4. Keep the list.
  5. Activate the trainer options by checking boxes or setting values from 0 to 1

I used your script, ty btw, made playing so much more enjoyable.

I do have a problem though. I left the infinite item selection on apparently when the tree fell so I didn't lose the harp.(I'm assuming this is my prob)
Now I'm on the part to go for jade, by heading to the zwaardrust region. Unfortunately no scene plays where the Big lizard shows up. I just dock. Run to the inn and try to stay the night. Game screen goes black but I can still move (hear the footsteps) or talk to the innkeeper endlessly.
I'm also able to go out the channel to the open sea. Is there a way to delete the harp that anyone might know of? Some script? Cause I'm so not replaying again up to this point.

If anyone has a save of sometime in Act 2 before going to Zwaard that would be fine. PC, New version.

I used the party modifier but now I can't chose my Main character as he's in the 8th spot, which isn't shown in the formation tab. I would be pleased if someone could help me fix it ;)

and I can't put anyone in the 8th slot like xapicool777 wrote as there litteraly is no 8th slot

I put in slots to 8 for Party Modifier.

I don't understand why you need to use the option if you already have 8 members though. You can use the interface the game provides.

well I just understood the option wrong, in my formation now it only shows 7 characters, which can be changed by just taking another character in spot but I got no 8th slot

maybe someone could just be so kind to post the parametres for slot 8 so I can just add it to my last team mate

If you want 8 party members and you only have 7, use the option but change Num In Party to 8. Simple enough.

I added 8 slots in EDIT 8.80.

thx, yea the problem was, even when I said there should be 8 spots, one of the characters didn't show up, your party member slot 8 parametres in your 8.8 edit helped me to get it back, this was all I asked for :)

The custom bonus skills and specials only last 1 battle, then they don't apply anymore, why?

If I remember correctly, these 2 options work hand in hand:

Add Custom Buffs For Spells At Start of Battle For Snap, Crackle, Poof Original Buff
Always Put Custom Specials When Equipping Something

Some buffs will wear off after battle, so put those in the Custom Buffs For Spells, but you have to keep Snap,Crackle,Poof Original Buff in the other option for these to get applied every battle. The defaults I had worked, but if you mess with the defaults you have to keep this in mind.

Thank DrummerIX for the table! I enjoy it a lot.

I would like to add the tables I found to share the fun, feel free to add to the main post.
1. NPC Costume Swap made by mike9k1
I edit it a bit for easier selection, you can swap character's appearance with this.
A few examples: Jade with Krystalinda's appearance, Serena with Madame Cherie...
Feel free to share your custom options to make your characters look good.
It also has save and load function, just check the save box before you quit.
Newest version is 0.9.2
Edit: note that it's just costume SWAP, so clipping is inevitable, might work well on some combinations, not so well with others
2. Dragon Rider (Mount Selector) made by mike9k1
Newest version is 0.3

I also have a few cheat suggestions:
1. Faster Fun-size forge. The forge is needlessly slow, it would be nice if we can skip the forging animation, or 10x the speed of it.
2. Encounter any monster you want. Some monsters are 1-time-only, would be fun if we can fight them again.
3. No blueish color on characters that are pepped-up. Some characters just look better without that blueish aura.

Thanks.

Hi DrummerIX. I was wondering if you could help me with an issue ive been having.
When ever i try to hit the enable button i get the following error message

Lua error in the script at line 33:[ string "local syntaxcheck, memrec=... ..."] :3: attempt to call a nil value (global 'lua_aobscan')
the only code at line 33 is {lua}

do you have any idea what is causing this and have any ideas on how to fix it. Any help will be appreciated

So, I'm trying to activate the 100% rarified monster cheat. It turns on, but running around fighting stuff, I'm not seeing any rarified versions.

They are only in certain fights. The first is the cactus in the Galapos region.
