Will this work on GOG version?

Running GoG version right now, astonished that I spent less than an hour creating my character. Looking forward to the Mod options.

But starting attributes and available points are standard 4 byte, easy to locate.

Is there a way to find ID of an item and add it to inventory?
I missed 500% crit katana in heist mission and don't want to start new game, just back to old save and return.
