How to use this cheat table?

1. Install Cheat Engine
2. Double-click the .CT file in order to open it.
3. Click the PC icon in Cheat Engine in order to select the game process.
4. Keep the list.
5. Activate the trainer options by checking boxes or setting values from 0 to 1

Could you please go step by step on how to use this table ?
The 3rd step (mouse over) can't be checked, and on 1 or 2 occasions that it checked, the rest of the boxes had ???? as values.

Works only "Experience" and "Other Attributes" (except "Is Dead" and "Base Speed" values) sub-sections. Main "Character" section pointers shows "???"

I can't get the table to work right.

I can activate everything, but when I mouse over a character (either on the field or the portrait in the corner) the values all just show ????.
