Hey guys, tried searching for this issue and found only a few comments, so apologies if I missed the solution.
Need some assistance. I had no issues using CE for my first playthrough, but something happened on my second one that triggered the shapeshifting bug. First noticed it when confronting Kaghda (or whatever her name is) and the shadow druids, they all instantly died. Then went to Auntie Ethel and as soon as I found the fireplace and she shifted, SHE instantly died. I see from others that this will happen to Halsin too before I can recruit him, haven't done that yet.
Especially devastating since other than Ethel and Goblin Camp, done with Act 1 and have done extensive work to get my team where I want it.
I tried somewhat recent saves, as far back as middle of my playthrough, it still happens. No idea what triggered this, and when. So going back in saves isn't doing the trick.
Anyone found any fixes or workarounds? Maybe caused by the most recent update since my first playthrough started before that one.
Thanks a ton for any help.
same here... I tried to remove all the equipment, left all the companions in the camp, but Ethel still died immediately. I think this is due to an attempt to add some passive skills from the table. I started a new game after the release of patch 7 and tried to add the passive skills I needed. After that, the situation with Ethel happened. I restarted it but didn’t try to add those passive skills that didn’t appear after clicking on them. And Ethel and her retinue stopped dying on their own.but the character began to get stuck often. Saving and loading helps with this. in general, at the moment the table can lead to irreversible negative consequences. Be careful and better wait for it to update.
I also noticed that when checking some skills, an empty square began to appear giving +1 to the check. So most likely the problem is in passive skills...
How to use this cheat table?
Install Cheat Engine
Double-click the .CT file in order to open it.
Click the PC icon in Cheat Engine in order to select the game process.
Keep the list.
Activate the trainer options by checking boxes or setting values from 0 to 1
In case people are itching to cheat Ability points before the table gets amended, the old trick with finding specific ability addresses in Cheat Engine still works.
If you haven't done it before, the actual search value is "Ability score - 8" as in if you set all scores to 10 (and disable +2/+1 bonuses for the time being) you should be searching for the value of 2. Once you have filtered the values down to 24 record (there are four 4-byte addresses for each Ability score) just add them to the list, set all abilities to different values in game, and rename each 4-address batch in Cheat Engine to the Ability score it represents.
Afterwards make sure you distribute all the points on the game screen first and finalize your character appearance and name before you set your new Ability values in Cheat Engine. They won't update in game GUI, and the game's cheat system won't trigger. But you will only see the correct Ability scores once you start on the Nautiloid.
Try changing any magic gear you party are using/wearing. I ran into a similar issue when my TAV was wearing Poisoner's Robe. Other than that I don't have any more ideas to offer
Will give that a try, but not sure what gear it could be since I don't think I had magic items equipped in the earliest saves.
For anyone else having this issue, I got to Halsin and made sure he was covered with a Globe of Invulnerability before the end of the fight. As with Ethel that worked, when he transformed out of bear mode he survived (with no health mind you) and then dropped a heal spell on himself. So this is working as a temporary workaround at least so far.
Is there any manual edit chance for unlimited prepared spells in Baldur’s Gate 3 with Cheat Engine? I tried to download the old version 4.1.1.5022896, but it cannot load the new version saved games 4.1.1.5849914. I am in Act 3 and I want to add the spells from Sorcerous Sundries Vault:
Curriculum of Strategy: Artistry of War
Sights of the Seelie: Summon Deva
Dethrone
to the prepared spells, but the cheat table is not supported for the new version.
I have been playing using BG3_HotFix#25_Autoload_v1.0.zipviewtopic.php?p=343574#p343574 with Patch 7 since it was realeased. So far I have not found anything not working, so no need for me to update it as yet.
BE SURE to follow these steps...
Process for using the Cheat Tables
1. Download the Cheat Table and place it a directory of your choice
2. Double click on the Cheat Table to get it loaded by Cheat Engine
3. Load your Baldur’s Gate 3 Game as you usually do (you can run it directly or use the Larian Launcher
4. No need to do anything further as Cheat Engine Auto Attaches to the Game
5. Console Commands loaded will be displayed in Green
6. Once you have loaded your Saved Game, Registered #### Commands will show in Green and open up the options within the Cheat Table
NOTE: If you wish to use BG3 Commander you will also need to put the sqlite database files in the same folder as the Cheat Table.
These database files are from EvenLess' post here:- viewtopic.php?p=319388#p319388
hi the unlimited prepared spells and learn scrolls with any character are the ones not working, surprisingly yes the console section of the table works
Same here...
Unlimited prepared spells doesn't work but console commands does it
I figured out how to get it working, wasn't terribly difficult.
simply double click the <script> on unlimited prepared spells, then when you see the code replace the

It's coming...
It's part of a bigger fix and is taking time to build.
Be happy with what you have for now. It is the only Cheat Table working right now.
There is more to life for me than building FREE Tables, and I also need time for me to enjoy the Game as well.

Is there any way to make the stat changes permanent? Or update the previous way to change stats in the tables? I also would like to not have to use hag hair as it fills up the passive section of your character sheet
I've been been spending a lot of time in the mod dev kit: glasses and came across some debug status conditions that should max your attributes to 30 and make them permanent (until you turn them off again with the cheat table). I just tested them and they survive after saving and reloading. Enjoy!

I just tried this and it doesn't survive a SAVE/RESTORE. I really want a way to just change stats but not necessarily MAX them all to 30. I mean when you have 30 across the board the game is ridiculous. But, PERMANENTLY boosting a stat one or two points is much more realistic. As others have said, yes you can just spawn HAG hair but it would be nice to figure out a way to make the change without the hag hair.

Same here But I wonder if there will be something like that in Act 2-3? It completely ruins the game, it's probably better to start all over again, but not use the broken table.

Very unlikely to be a Cheat Table tripping you up, MUCH more likely to be MODS you may have introduced.
There have been reports of bugs where NPCs involved in significant story events (like Kagha or Aunty Ethel) die automatically due to a scripting issue, especially if you’ve already completed certain quests or interacted with the game in an unexpected sequence.
For instance, if you've already completed certain steps involving the Shadow Druids before confronting them, the game might mistakenly mark them as dead when you arrive.
As you have already tried loading earlier save, you can try to Verify Game Files If you're playing on PC, you can verify the integrity of the game files in case something has become corrupted.
After patch7 Alfira can temporarily join the party. Is that mean there's certain debug tag could invite Alfira into our team just like Minthara? Does anyone knows that tag?
