Excuse me, but I just want to get the item I need for the quest and continue playing, and I don’t really want to learn a whole programming language. I have already read many pages of the forum, and found a solution to a similar problem from the respected junkty, so I turned to him. Anyway, thanks for the tips
seems like you just have a smart comment for everything and everyone who types in these boards, and always like "go read this, go back a few pages, Learn CE, learn LUA" and bla bla...
Thanks for support
thanks for thanks and try check the table as it contains answer to your question (for example Item Spawner )
btw if you want to drive car you should learn how to drive it first not get in the car and start asking how to drive it .
good luck
How to use this cheat table?
Install Cheat Engine
Double-click the .CT file in order to open it.
Click the PC icon in Cheat Engine in order to select the game process.
Keep the list.
Activate the trainer options by checking boxes or setting values from 0 to 1

Thank you again, but it seems to me that the analogy is not appropriate. Indeed, if I want to do something more than once, I will study, but if I need to do and forget, then I will ask for advice from a person who understands this issue
is there a reason why more than half of the NPC uuids just give you an error when putting them into the "turn into mindflayer" command, I want to see what every unique NPC looks like for a RP when doing a new game, and it doesn't help when a ton of them flat out don't work.

have you considered that not everyone has a tadpole ?

true, but what about the other half that do work? my current RP is dribbles the clown, and my twin brother is volo the bard, having lots of fun for sure.

as far as I know dribbles is a shapeshifter
true, but I'm the real dribbles the dancing clown, but on a serious note, I need to know why the cheat engine gives errors when typing in certain uuids for npcs, theres quite a bit of cool sounding npcs to test out and most of the good ones come up with an error, is it possibly a wrong uuid number? if so, I wouldn't know what the correct one is, I just got the NPC uuid list from discord, and even then it doesn't have all the NPCs, some are missing.
hey all, this is gonna be a long shot but I'm at my wits end waiting for Larian to fix (or even acknowledge at this point) a playthrough-ending bug introduced in Patch 3 that has made the game quite literally unplayable for me and many others, as evidenced here: [Link]
Basically, I have not once and no matter what methods I try, been able to "zone" into the Lower City part of Act 3. Just a giant game-ending wall for me, even though I had no issue getting into it on my first character BEFORE patch 3. Now on my Dark Urge second playthrough, I try to go through the single entry point at Wyrmrest and I just get the loading screen that goes 33% > 67% > 100% (some "new area" sounds load in here) and then Crash To Desktop right as there's about to be some sort of visual output. I have tried their janky "nonzero HP dead enemy" workaround but I've gone back to an end of Act 2 save, proceeded normally while making sure there are no possible nonzero HP deaths, made a beeline straight for the Wyrmrest > Lower City area transition with as little interaction as possible and STILL get the exact same crash in the exact same fashion.
anyways, I've tried doing some debugging and console command analysis stuff with Script Extender but nothings worked so I figured I'd ask some hopefully tech-savvy folks here if there's ANY way I can finagle some sort of workaround to just get my characters into the Lower City area. Like, maybe there's a way to get to some otherwise inaccessible zone line that I can try or just like, have the game process my area transition in a different way or something. I know that probably sounds ridiculous but like I said I'm at my wit's end and there's no telling if/when Larian will actually do something about it so I can finish my playthrough.

Try to add yourself a new teleport point in lower city and use it .

You could try one of the debug teleport flags to teleport you to the area. See Noway3's example here and just search for "teleport" in one of [Link] (Json and Excel are the same, just in different formats).

Could someone help me? ): I'm trying to trigger a specific scene (Karlach's date romance scene in lower city), but I can't manage to do it. I've already partnered her through the romance script shared here.
I've done it once accidentaly but can't replicate. I imagine for that you must add a flag, but, how do I do that specifically?
I found a few potential flags that might be the right ones but dunno how to go about it. I want to trigger her first dialogue where she asks you on the date.

welp I tried 3 different spots in Lower, all of them CTD'd in the exact same way so idk what else I can do, but thanks anyways. Just on the off chance that it happens to be something on my end, is there anything else I can try to look at to see the cause of the crash besides Larian Launcher's crash dump thing? the only thing that gave me once I analyzed the dump was
"ERROR_CODE: (NTSTATUS) 0xc0000005 The instruction at 0x%p referenced memory at 0x%p. The memory could not be %s."
which from what i gather is just sort of a boiler plate response for something bugged out in the game and not on my end

You can ask sb else to use your save and goto lower town, save and give that save back to you or you can try one of your saves on another computer, but I am afraid that you are facing sw/hw issues on you computer .

Yes, that is possible: you can set one of these Flags, you will be magically teleported there.
You are bypassing a lot of game stuff with this kind of cheat, there are certainly lot of side effects to endure! be aware ...
House of Hope Entrance: "22c9f918-0a6f-6784-d8f4-d21b0f814e52"
House of Hope Feast Hall: "fa19501c-b8cf-0cd5-26aa-7779206a68cc"
House of Hope Boudoir: "a0c94538-68d6-8b85-2378-fdaa4f4803aa"
just amend and use the "SetFlag" script in the cheat table (under "Testing Stuff" -> "Flag tests")
e.g:
{$lua}
if syntaxcheck then return end
flag = "22c9f918-0a6f-6784-d8f4-d21b0f814e52"
[ENABLE]
SetFlagOnPlayer(flag)
[DISABLE]
Have fun with your astral travels!
First of all TYSM dude for the wonderful explanation!! But , sadly when I check the box "SetFlagOnPlayer" (after amending the code as you suggested) nothing happens. Do I need to do something to trigger the teleport? Write now I'm just beside unconcious SH after the nautiloid crashed , and nothing is changing.
NVM , got it to work Thanks Thanks Thanks !! How did you find the ids for the different maps/places if you dont mind me asking?
Would you be able to explain how you got this working? I'm super new, sorry, but I do know that you double click <script> when you want to edit a script. I'm using the v10 table and didn't see the Testing Stuff area, but found a "SetFlag" under an unlabeled checkbox. I pasted the code into that SetFlag script and got a warning that it wouldn't compile.
Thanks in advance.
Hey Brax,
You need to go to:
Console Commands - Register Commands - Testing Stuff - Flag Tests
Then right click on SetFlagOnPlayer - Copy
Then right click on SetFlagOnPlayer - Paste
On the Duplicated SetFlagOnPlayer right click and select Change Script
Just only replace the existing "flag = "f5989c01-2600-4b16-9f29-c1fc7ee6bb9c" code line with "flag = "22c9f918-0a6f-6784-d8f4-d21b0f814e52" or whichever one you want from above and click OK.
And optionally double click on the name to change the name.
Should be good to go (:
