It seems that once a lifestyle has been selected, you can only set experience value for that lifestyle and no other. I think its a bit of a bug, is there a work around?
How to use this cheat table?
Install Cheat Engine
Double-click the .CT file in order to open it.
Click the PC icon in Cheat Engine in order to select the game process.
Keep the list.
Activate the trainer options by checking boxes or setting values from 0 to 1
Right click menu usually gives a partial error code if it fails as first line.
Otherwise, are you using the latest table as this was issue with the previous table after update. And not using any other tables at same time which could conflict?
Having the same issue, I right-clicked the setting and the message says the following:
"Error while scanning for AOB's : SetSelectedCharacterIndex Error : Not all results found"

Most of the time this is one of:
1. Connected to wrong executable
2. Connected to wrong version of executable for that table
3. Using another table at same time that uses same address and has altered it so this table cannot use those addresses
4. Used this table before and worked but then closed CE without disabling and then trying again but its altered so doesnt work
v58 of the table on first page works for 1.8.0 and 1.8.1 for me.
Keep in mind that enabling the console and debug mode so you can add or remove traits (or do almost anything else you could want) is still possible without modifying the checksum and thus disabling ironman/achievements. Just pause time in the game anytime you activate debug mode. As long as the game is paused when debug mode is active, the checksum will be fine. Just make sure you disable debug mode when you unpause. You can still enable the console and run commands while it's unpaused. It's just debug mode being active that will mess things up.
for 1.8.2 update
Doesn't work when start it with 'select a process to open'
&
gene_chin_forward / gene_chin_height / gene_chin_width
...
Please check, thanks for good work
I loaded up the game. do not have issues with "Select process to open" mode and the table will try to select ck3 anyway so maybe related to that but that hasn't changed since probably the first version.
When I use debug mode and the portrait editor to paste DNA strings and the readable PersistentDNA string values seems to match the normal DNA strings shown in the CE table. So I'm not seen a discrepancy. Maybe its an difference in save files or something. Not saying its totally useful but seems consistent.
I dont see anything in 1.8.2 update that is broken but I only spent 5 minutes on it. Post here if there is something that I'm missing.
Trait list no longer works which is always one of the first to break but most of it seems fine
Actually now i've tested it, most of it doesn't work while you can technically activate scipts they no longer actually effect anything, some even just show the script formulas rather than what's ingame.
1.9.0.2 broke nearly everything at first glance so this is going to take time. Please refrain from complaining that the 1.8.0 table does not work anymore. Hopefully it should be self evident why.
I'm undecided how much I really want to update the table at this time. If I'm bored I may look at it over the weekend but this could easily drag out or be the straw that breaks the camels back on updates. I don't really want to spend half the day fixing the table unless I actually am going to play the game which I currently am not planning on. (working contributions that fix it would be welcome)
