How to use this cheat table?

1. Install Cheat Engine
2. Double-click the .CT file in order to open it.
3. Click the PC icon in Cheat Engine in order to select the game process.
4. Keep the list.
5. Activate the trainer options by checking boxes or setting values from 0 to 1

On Xbox pass version, I just used it to add an item, then, saved, and at reload, all quest disappeared from journal.

Ok I have found a fix to this: After saving, there is a window showing:
new datazise: datasize = XXXXXX
New Save DataSize: SaveDataSave=YYYYYY

Note the values XXXXXX and YYYYYY

Then in the SAVE folder (the folder with time and hour you last saved), open the file with size 1kb with note pad, and replace the values noted, then save the 1kb file.

Is there any way to edit mutations? I have 'third eye' (+10% crit chance) but accidentally received 'shaky' as well (-10% hit chance). Doc or NoGlo removes all at once

However, I can't figure out how to get The Provost back. I've got two saves about 1/2 hour apart, he's in the first one, but not in the second one and the "Provost" entries in the txt file are the same for both saves. There must be something else that tracks his status, but I have no idea what. Any help would be appreciated.

could you explain how you restore lost/dead companions? did you by any chance visit snowy lodge or whatewer its called and opened the toaster there?

I did visit Snowed Inn and did toaster, but didn't have the Provost with me. Trying to figure out if I can restore him to just before that. To restore companions, you need to use the "advanced - unpack xml" in the editor. It saves the unpacked xml as a txt file. I just used "Notepad" to edit it.
To be safe, make a copy of the save file you want to add the follower to.
You first need to unpack a save which has the "follower" you want. You will then copy and paste the appropriate lines from the save file which has the follower to the save file which you want to add the follower to. Use the "find" tool and search for "follower". You will see a section of code that looks like this:

Now you need to paste this text into the save file that you want to add the follower to.
Just paste it right after a line which is the same as line 4 above (note the forward slash "/" in this line, unlike line 1)
Now, you need to set the "follower number" to whichever follower you are trying to add. (The number might already be right if you
copied the right text from the 1st file. Once the number is correct, use the "advanced - pack file" tool, and let it replace the save file
which didn't have the follower. Sorry, this is so long, but it's hard to explain briefly. Here are some "follower numbers", but I'm not sure
if these are universal, or possibly unique to my saves. Major Tom=34 - Clone=30 - Pig=10 - Fox=39 - Rabbit=42 - Razorback=14
Mountain Goat=12 - Cyborg Chickens=23,24,25, ?,?(maybe 21,22) - Party Pal=43 - Poultron=26. I will try to add other when I get them.

I found that Heads or Tails quest ended up getting bugged in my quest log. I tried removing: 0000_ErastusDorsey_StartedTimestep, 0000_ErastusDorsey_RevealedLocation, 0000_x3501_ArapahoMassacre_DestroyedCallReceived, 0000_x3501_ArapahoMassacre_WarningCount, m1001_HoonsAskedAboutBunker, m1001_Hoons_MetAngusJr, m1001_Hoons_MetAlmore, m1001_Hoons_DorseysVsHoonsCutsceneTrigger01, m1001_Hoons_DorseysDefeatedByPcs, m1001_HoonGun_AvieGaveWarning, m1001_ErastusEncounterGoaded, m1001_ErastusDorsey_Dead, m1001_Erastus_MetErastus, m1001_Erastus_FirstEncounterCircumstances. However, I keep getting the failure message from the quest about how the power armor caravan was destroyed. I'm currently working on reproducing a solo save file to look at which would have the quest at a new state. However this takes several hours even when speeding through. Anyone have an idea to reset the quest so I can actually finish it and get the experience?

Faction Score Change;

After changing the Marshal faction, they don't seem to persist when reloading. Even after speaking with the Sheriff after changing the score to loved. if I reload, it actually reverts to Neutral. I am assuming it's due to the completion state of some missions.

Anyone have an idea to reset the quest so I can actually finish it and get the experience?

First, you need to know this is a forced-choice quest. You can go to save the family first, you can save the caravan first, or you can save none. In any case quest log will say you failed at something. That's not a bug, that's by design.

Second, It's not even certain it's possible to change something in the questlog via save editing. As far as I can tell quest-log is not directly connected to variable state, it's just that certain decisions cause certain things to appear there.
That said, actual world state and reactions you get IS governed by variables, not quest log. So your quest log might say you failed one while still having a world where both were saved (if you edit it properly). For that particular quest you just need to remove the Destroyed flag before visiting the second location (so you can visit the non-destroyed state) and after visiting it (to revert the destruction of the location you did first).

Quest: Slaver's Bounty

If you don't want the slavers to get Hallie, but still want to fully open up the Vault at HQ, you can use the Savegame Editor on Page 8.

I first tried out the first code they gave me and after that accepted the Quest to turn Hallie in.
I warned Hallie and she left the City.
I murdered La Perla and her Thugs.
Quest solved. But of course -> no second Door Code.

Save your game and make a Backup.
Open your Save with the Editor on Page 8.
Go to Globals in the Editor.
Use "add" to create a new global.
Rename this global (It's at the top of the list).
Name it like this: a1001_SlaversBounty_GotSecondCode and set the Value on the right to 1.
After loading this Savegame, you should now be able to open the second door via the doordialogue.
You should also send someone with nerdstuff to the mainframe (that huge pillarcomputer in the center).
In addition to the second door, you can now allow access to the secret area in the vault.
Loot everything, save. If you want, you can delete the global from your save now.
But its not at the top anymore. I found it way down in the globals list.

This worked perfectly for me at first but when I tried to use it a second time the window immediately closes when I try to open a save file. It still opens older save files perfectly. Can anybody help I have no idea whats going on. I have the Xbox Game Pass version

Is it possible to add missing missions back? I have the issue that all primary missions were deleted after adding back the Provost follower.
It wasn't until a few more hours in that I noticed, but I decided to press on since things seemed to work anyway. However now my game is broken, I am at the part where I need to meet Angela Deth at Hoon ranch, but the scout is not there. The other hoons are saying "someone wants to see you" but no one is there
Is there a way I can add back the missing quest 'The Traitor' or get the scout to appear at Hoon ranch. Otherwise, it's game over man now

could you add support to load an unpacked .txt/xml file & save that unpacked save? as the game uses the same save format on the PS4 version as well. when using savewizard to decrypt & export the save it comes out like this:

it needs to be able to save the file as is all in line, no linebreaks or spaces..

beacuse atm i have to pack the exported data for me to edit it in your save editor, & then unpack it again, remove all the spaces & lines maunuly in a text editor... before i can re-import into my save file via savewizard.
