When playing as Ajax, and I assume any other faction with renown, it sets the renown to 70,000. However, the game only recognizes up to 100, and so it defaults to you having 0 renown and being unable to gain any more. It says you have 70k, but it doesn't give you any bonuses, because the game isn't meant to have that much renown.
edit: turns out it's wrapped up in the minimum resources selection and disabling it and doing something else resets it to wherever the maximum is. enabling it again breaks it again until you disable it and then do something else involving renown.
Is it possible to make the 'minimum renown' part it's own thing like the minimum god favor? because as it is, if you want to leave resources enabled it breaks this part of the games mechanics.
As armads mentions, the minimum resources messes with a few game mechanics. In addition to Ajax's renown mechanic, it also breaks the vitality mechanic of the Lernaean Hydra.
Minimum god favour simply doesn't work. Unlimited movement for the game's single horde faction, Penthesilea's Amazons, is also janky. The hordes regain 30% of their movement points after razing a settlement. With the cheat on, you still get unlimited movement - but only up the 30% of the maximum.
On another note: if you engage in manual combat during the turn cycle, all options are switched off until you're back in control at the beginning of your turn. Any construction will not be finished, unless it only needed one turn to construct.
Okay this table doesn't seem to work for me now even though it was working a few hours ago.. am I supposed to load my game first or??? Everytime I try to activate the epicgames version it just freezes then does nothing. After right clicking it says "<< failure allocating memory near 1400A0000 >>" What am I doing wrong??? Everything is up to date...
EDIT: I managed to get it to work after restarting my game, not sure why but it seems to be working again.

active cheat before play campaign or load game.... "in menu game" this will be "fix this issue"
