Some guy on /vg/ made the claim that you could play as Kate using CE by changing some values like how you could during Avengers Beta for Thor and Cap. Just checking if there is any visual proof of it.

in the character selection screen i messed with the bytes to change character and anything outside of the below seems to just infinite load.

the trick does work to switch characters based on the below using memory just doens't seem to respond to anything outside of the 5.

it wasn't on this forum. but the other person said something about a guy claiming this on /vg/. But ive search on google for any forum called /vg/ there's nothing relevant so I don't where the source of this info is from directly.

However there is some info from the beta days

Play as Captain America Using Cheat Engine on PC. Go to the character select screen. Select Kamala. Search for FF000505 (4 bytes) in cheat engine. If there's more than 1 result.
Select another character. Select Kamala again.
Replace FF000505 with: FF000303 for Captain America. Then switch to any character.

This would require you know the id for kate to do this which would be obviously hard as you cannot play as her to grab the id like in the beta for thor and cap.

not 100% sure could be someone being nuts

i did find if you do 06 06 00 FF outside of the character select and tab in you get iron man but its like a diff 'template' for skills and such

7,7 crashes

busted my backup save lol loaded in with 6,6 was some weird room and had no control over my character.

anyone messing with this backup just reloaded to see if the save was jacked and it is you load in to darkness with no way to get to a menu.
