It's unfortunately that the perk affix and suffix aren't just separate bytes that can be matched together. Instead, each perk as a whole is a unique 4-byte sequence, as far as I can tell.

I have noticed that for some perks there can be three, possibly more, different versions of said perk. For example, I have found three versions of the fire resistance perk, each one giving a different base percentage but they all share the same name, icon and text.

I have also noticed that you can often put any generic perk onto any piece of gear, but there are a few that are specific to just one slot and the game immediately crashes if you place it onto a different slot.

These are not all of the ones I ran across but the ones that were interesting and beneficial to my build. Ideally, we should build a google doc for all the characters with more exact descriptions.

I would recommend adjusting your mouse sensitivity in windows itself. That would be the easiest way.
