Having just had Steam destroy my saves with null values somehow (from the cloud), I would just like to reset my player level back to what it was so I don't feel so nooby.

I've already manually got my RENOWN back for my cosmetics, but running around as a level 2 when I should be 59 is irritating. Anybody have the address where this is stored in game, or where in the "/Appdata/Local/SpaceHulkEnhanced/Saved/SaveGames/PersistentUserSave.sav" file this info is stored?

It is all definetly in that file, as deleting it makes me have 0 renown and level 1 again.

EDIT: Have solved own issue, triggered that XP gives you levels...riiight? -_-
XP is saved at 4 addresses:

33 6E D4 7C
33 6E D4 80
33 6E D5 04
33 6E D5 08

350k is level 45 I can tell you without logging back in to find what I found 59 to be. The game saves XP as a total vs per level.

How do you change the player level? I've never done it before. do I use hexeditor, notepad++, cheatengine, ect?

Can you tell me how to edit the save file and give myself XP? I experienced the same thing where Steam ruined my saves.

Well late reply, but basically you are not editing the save files at all, you are manually giving yourself XP in game.....using Cheatengine at those addresses.
