Lands of Lore 3 (GoG)

Another old RPG. This time I really had problems - not because it's difficult to cheat, but because the game has the irritating behaviour to

• prevent alt-tab to another window
• crash 2 of 5 times if you still manage to multitask to another window

How to get this crappy thing to allow us switchting to another window?
The answer is [Link]. Download DXWND, unpack it to a folder of your choice (it's portable, doesn't matter where it is. May even be stored in a folder on your desktop). Import the config file from [Link], import it into DXWND, right click on the Lands of Lore entry and adjust the path to the game, if necessary.

Now this little bastard can be started by double-clicking the Lol3-Entry in the DxWND program and we can happily use CE with the game.

Now, how to prevent crashes:
Start new game, attach CE, load table. push values for health and mana to a high value, then freeze them.
Go back to the game and don't ever even think about moving the mouse out of the games window ^^

How to use this cheat table?

1. Install Cheat Engine
2. Double-click the .CT file in order to open it.
3. Click the PC icon in Cheat Engine in order to select the game process.
4. Keep the list.
5. Activate the trainer options by checking boxes or setting values from 0 to 1

did everything. the game still start in fullscreen. no windows, no tabbing option, no way to not kill the process... omg is soo fucking stressing, why nobody actually patched this game before putting it on GOG?
