pardon my ignorance!, but since i read rysefox saying he wont update unless the version is stable (maybe im wrong here), is there going to be an update for this version(1.4.1)? and maybe this is a dumb question but where do i see if it is a stable of beta(i think is called?) version?
ps: btw thanks for all this work! if i wasnt living under a bridge i'd like to pay u for this work! ;D
How to use this cheat table?
Install Cheat Engine
Double-click the .CT file in order to open it.
Click the PC icon in Cheat Engine in order to select the game process.
Keep the list.
Activate the trainer options by checking boxes or setting values from 0 to 1
By 1.5.x the only scripts that works in a reliable fashion is the one for setting stamina during smithing and changing progress of a siege. It's still super-handy, cutting down the obnoxious tedium. Also, certain pointers display proper values, but they don't change them in-game.
Other than that, all the remaining scripts are either impossible to load, unoperationable, unreliable or prone of causing game-crash when their effect is applied to the game - sometimes a mix of few of listed.
Tbh, the only script I need is anything that could increase my quiver size beyond 32-36 arrows or freeze the current count, as trying to find a pointer proved futile. Unfortunately, editing files is far less reliable than it was in original M&B. Horse archery with fast enough mount is absurdly effective without any cheats or trainers and the only thing preventing me from taking down entire armies on my own after bit of practise (read - 4 months of playing various builds of the game, always as a horse archer) is the fact you eventually run out of arrows and can't restock. At least with javelines you can pick them up, shame you can't do that with arrows and crossbow bolts while picking arrows and bolts is extremely finnicky (didn't notice until doing new run as a crossbowman).
So if anyone knows what exactly to edit and where without crashing the game with the results - please share. So far my attempts to edit item file always lead to game crashing to desktop.
EDIT
Also, since 1.5.4 mainline is about to be released, this might be the right moment to do an update. It seems the 1.5.5, despite already being wrapped, will spend extended time in tests, even more than 1.5.4 (which was released over a month ago), so yeah, we will be stuck with 1.5.4 build for quite a while.
Might be worth another go. Shame about the tables apparently, maybe mods are the way to go in the meantime?
I've been using a trainer, personally. Some alright ones out there, not trying to advertise other places here or anything so I won't say the name but it works pretty damn well. Some options don't work after updates but it's usually only one or two.
I have played this a couple of times since it's been out in Early Access. Had some fun, killed a TON of hours. I think I'm done with it until it's finished for now. Don't need to burn myself out on it. lol
