Hey noob lords and cry babies,

unfortunately none of the updates here help me since I'm on the GamePass version - however potentially some of these little "hacks" will help get the script hobbling along just enough for you to do whatever you' need...

I'm currently on version 101.101.63581.0.0 from the Windows store. If you execute the script the "errors" will hint at stuff that is wrong. Unfortunately I have no idea about the cheat engine syntax and the language is way too low level for me (I'm a C# developer), however I was able to get the script working JUST ENOUGH to build massive armies, save, restart and trample through scenarios.

Your miles will vary w/ this approach - it did what I needed though (spam out quick armies, spam research, maybe a small fight w/ God mode). Once again, no clue what I'm doing, just got it far enough so the little checkbox opens up and I can click little cheats and save after.

Here's what I do:
1. Download current version of the CE script -as of today that's 101.101.63482.0 (s3.19)(Steam)
2. Open it up in notepad++ or your favorite editor
3. Since I'm Gamepass, I rename all instances of AoE2DE_s.exe w/ AoE2DE.exe (find/replace)
4. Next I comment out the following lines (or just remove them) since the CE was bitching about them

• 181-202 - all the lines that says assert

• 213 - readmem($process,0x049C0000)

After doing the following I do this
1. Run AOE first
2. Get organized (what do I want to accomplish)
3. SAVE
4. Start the script
5. Enable cheats
6. SPAM for whatever I need (resources, research, millions of Elephants)
7. SAVE
8. At some point the game will crash, probably did several times during the above. This is a combination of version differences, game mismatch, and anti cheat

Here's the scripts "enabled" on current version


Like I said - you aren't running God Mode the entire match, but it sure makes it easier to do a few cheats here and there
I haven't tested this on the Steam version, but I'm sure it's the same principal (see what it screams about and try and see if removing it gets you far enough)

How to use this cheat table?

1. Install Cheat Engine
2. Double-click the .CT file in order to open it.
3. Click the PC icon in Cheat Engine in order to select the game process.
4. Keep the list.
5. Activate the trainer options by checking boxes or setting values from 0 to 1

not sure there is a line for that.. w/ modified version of the script I'm able to run it long enough to build massive armies or go into a fight w/ god mode on. my suggestion is to just keep spam saving if you want to cheat. here's how my game's look
1. start the campaign mission
2. open my modified version of the cheat script and run it
3. spam all my upgrades, spam a large army, spam research (save, save, save)
4. game probably crashed by now, no biggy - restart game
5. load save
6. do some stuff (usually fighting or sending armies villagers are completely ignored except to spam castles everywhere)
7. when I need to cheat again - save before then active cheat engine for a few moments
8. game crashes for anti-tamper again, rinse repeat

not ideal, but you're cheating so it's give or takes. once again I'm not just running the script the whole game - this gives me more time w/o dealing w/ anticheats

using this method last night I pretty much wrapped up the Rajendra campaign
