Request help with Talisman Digital Edition

I'm looking for assistance with Talisman Digital Edition. There are several cards in the game I would like to avoid, such as Tapestry Rewoven. Whenever this card is drawn, it changes the ending (and it is currently bugged). Because of this, I have to play with the entire expansion pack disabled. I would like to use Cheat Engine to help me identify when that card (or any others I would like to avoid) is the next card to be drawn, and then replace it with another card.

I used cheat engine to identify an address that seems to display a code for the next card that will be drawn, and I've even been able to use it to change that card to a different card. However, the card "IDs" seem to change every game. For instance, when the "Direwolf" card showed up in my first game, the "ID" for it was 380707960, but when it showed up in a following game, the ID was 211645184, and in a following game, it showed up as 438722956. So there is either some encryption going on, or something else. This is now way beyond my skills. Because the ID seems to change every game, I can't use it to identify when Direwolf (for example) will be the next card to be drawn, because I don't know what code will be used for it this game until it's actually drawn (and by then, it's too late).

Does anybody have any experience with this game or with affecting card draws in general? Thanks for any help that you can provide!
