Values are easy to find in DOSBox, but scripts are a bit more difficult. I decided to dip my hand into that can of worms and see what I could pull out. I hope you enjoy.
Here is a link to the GOG release of the game ([Link])
WARNING, Steam most likely uses a different DOSBox version, so it won't work there. I will try further experiments on getting cheats to work for multiple DOSBox versions.

I will should soon have an update that will work on both steam and gog, and possibly future versions of DOSBox (so long as they don't change things too much).
Turns out that idea didn't work too well. After many attempts I feel I understand DOSBox much better, but it's also left me with quite the headache. I'm going to have to call it quits for now, though I'll leave my incomplete code in case anyone wants to make use of it (be warned though, it's very messy due to it being used for many tests). I may come back when I feel up to it, I'll probably need to start from a more or less blank slate.
Every failure is another step towards success. I may have failed at my coding, but through it all I understand DOSBox much more than I previously did, and that was the main goal.
