Cheat Engine 7.0 setup not working

I'm having a problem with the 7.0 version setup not opening, i already tried uninstalling the older version and doing a fresh install, didn't work.
The setup don't even open, it loads and then closes, no process running in the background, nothing.

It's weird because i can install the previous version without problems. I have an exception made on my anti-virus, so i don't think this is the problem. I'm using Windows 10.

If you're using kaspersky av then uninstall it, exceptions don't work on that av

Besides that uninstall badlion and reboot (not shutdown and back on, actual reboot)

No problem here with KIS 18 and CE

Found the problem.

Install it on your OS Hdd, for some reason it doesn't install on secondary HDs.

Yeahhhhh no. Installing it elsewhere doesn't help if the setup closes automagically before I can even choose where to install it...

Got another solution?

have the same problem. settled for using 6.3
