A similar game to Incubation is Spaceland: Sci-Fi Indie Tactics
Spaceland took a lot of game mechanics from Incubation and is really addictive.
Its theme is more cartoonish though. But still great strategic game where you need to think about every step.

I'm not guaranteeing anything, but try this one.

The game did at first even start, it refuses to work with dxwnd and it keeps changing the resolution of my displays every time I tab out. So I uninstalled it already

Unlimited Ammo works perfectly.

Invulnerability does not work sometimes. It seems that if damage in 1 impact is higher than lifepoint, marine still dies.
But that is OK in my book.

What I could not manage to do is the last point: edit XP, Health, Ammo
I could not tell cheat engine the names, as I could not find a field to enter it.
And after a few trials and errors, all my marines were called: ?? in game.
As that is what the cheat engine field is filled by default.
I could not make the red cross in the edit lines appear (that activates the cheat).

But Thank you so much for working with this old game.


Regarding your issues with this game:
I use Settings.exe and nglide_config.exe (which are in the main game folder) to adjust the game resolution to match my monitors resolution. Hope this helps.
Yes, this game is made around 25 years ago and it shows.
Thank god it still runs stable with Win 10.

just noticed: I already had the money for upgrades in the shop in the table, but deleted it when cleaning up before release.
So I re-added it

Ok, Joshuan pointed me to [Link] where a config file for DXWND has been posted. After adding a -3dfx to the exe, I could finally run the game in windowed mode.

Added pointers for the 3 Soldiers.
