I'm not quite sure what i'm doing wrong here, but i can't edit any player in career mode. I enable the script to enable the in game menu to edit players but all the options are greyed out.

To edit player in career mode you don't need to enter "Edit player" in game. It can be done through squad hub. There is dozens of video tutorials on youtube. Most recent one (not really tutorial, but shows got to edit attributes):

How to use this cheat table?

1. Install Cheat Engine
2. Double-click the .CT file in order to open it.
3. Click the PC icon in Cheat Engine in order to select the game process.
4. Keep the list.
5. Activate the trainer options by checking boxes or setting values from 0 to 1

Doesnt work at all, gives me an error saying it can't find "main lua" ??
Unpacked everything just fine, CE can't find the files and will therefore not load?
How am i the only one with this problem? can i do anything else to fix it?

So, what can i even do about this? unzipped all i need to unzip, i ran the .bat file.
And i'm using CheatEngine 6.8. What could i possibly have done wrong here?

Cheat Engine 6.8.1 is the one recommended by me.
You can also try to delete everything from "GUI/forms/mainform/consts.lua" file, but still, you may encounter other problems.

Ive followed everything in the tutorial however after I play a match in my career mode, all of the stats and things I change reverted back to the way they originally were.
